My Buyer client introduced me to Waymaker Mortgage, as this was the company she chose to work with. I was impressed with them from day 1. I worked closely with Scottie Campbell, who was highly communicative, patient, and got things done for us. They offer an agent portal which allowed me to check details and status updates of their loan through the entire process. Their team worked very efficiently. I will now be using them as one of my preferred lenders moving forward because of the incredible experience I had working with them.

I cannot in good faith recommend anyone using waymaker mortgage company. This one star review is based of my interactions with Scottie Campbell who is the founder and owner this company whom I worked with on obtaining a mortgage for two separate properties. The review is also based on my personal interactions with the founder and owner.Edit: It's interesting how they in their response to this review deflect saying I worked with their old Waymaker company and not the new Waymaker company. This, to me, indicates shady business practices.I added a screenshot of email correspondence between me and Scottie Campbell to prove I did indeed work with him on obtaining a mortgage.

I worked with Scottie Campbell @ Waymaker Mortgage to get a mortgage on two separate properties, one in Pittsburgh PA in 2020 and later another one in Austin TX. Based on those two interactions and my personal interactions with Scottie, I cannot recommend Scottie Campbell or this company.In response to their claims that I never worked with them, that is simply not true and is yet another lie from them. Shady business practices of closing and opening up the same business doesn’t change my opinion of them.
