I just purchased a used certified Elantra 2023 and dealt with the internet sales team only. Negotiations, car, and condition of car was exactly as expected and went great. Closing was very smooth. Price was negotiated prior to me seeing the car. Once I arrived, I asked if this came with an extra key as this is typical for a factory certified vehicle. The sales person Angelo told me yes but was looking for it as was not sure the location of it at the sales office. He even mentioned that they could possibly make an extra. My mistake I took their word on this that they would find the key and send it to me in the mail. Because they did not find the key, they did send me a couple to try out that did not work and I sent them back. They (Brian and Angelo and Shelby) would not give me any deal on making another key because bla bla bla the price was already a good deal for me. Not sure if anyone has looked at key fob prices but they are ridiculous. I even told them I would pay up to $150 to get a key made knowing prices can go between $450 to $750. Lessons learned do not fall for this in the future and get a spare key in writing if they say there is one. Note, I was supposed to sign a piece of paper that said the car was sold as is with no further items. I did not sign this piece of paper because I was waiting for a spare key. This did not help me obtain another key. I did reach out to them yesterday one last time and no response. I finally got a spare key made yesterday evening at my expense after a month of frustration dealing with this and with the Cocoa Hyundai Internet Sales Team. I am not happy with the key situation and how it was handled. The reason for the 3 stars is because everything else went smooth outside of the key. However, the severity of the service oversight demands attention.I recently brought in my 2021 Hyundai Sonata for a scheduled transmission fluid service, based on mileage and Hyundai's recommendations. The work was completed quickly, and they also diagnosed a failing battery during inspection, which I authorized them to replace.Thankfully, what saved my transmission was pure luck. That same day, I went to a different shop to have my brakes done, and while the car was on their lift, they noticed a transmission fluid leak — from the system just serviced hours earlier at Cocoa Hyundai. They also pointed out an oil leak at the valve cover, which had been missed entirely during the dealer’s inspection.When I asked Cocoa Hyundai about the oil leak, and how something so major - even if it was just seepage - could be overlooked, it was dismissed as “an oversight.”To their credit, they did provide a rental car and had my vehicle towed back to the dealership at no charge. By the next day, they drained the transmission to check the fluid level, confirmed that only a few ounces had leaked, and refilled it. The issue was determined to be a drain plug that wasn’t properly torqued.That mistake — had it not been caught coincidentally by a second shop — could have resulted in catastrophic transmission failure.As for the valve cover oil leak, Cocoa Hyundai quoted over $200 more than the shop that originally found it, so I'll be taking it there to have that fixed.Again, I appreciate that the dealership owned up to the transmission issue and resolved it without pushback. The front office handled it well. But the fact remains: this mistake could have totaled my transmission, and it only came to light through pure chance — not through the inspection or service I paid for. Less

All my life I have been heavily against leasing. To me, for one thing, it's no different than renting a home. If you have no reason to own something, then fine. However, he went over everything in detail and I learned that you can buy the lease vehicle after the 3 yrs and my payments were close to what I was wanting. (I had been avoiding all CRV/SUV's through my researching because my folks both have one and I just wasn't really interested.) I am So glad he showed me the Tuscan and mentioned the lease option(s). They said they will check with other bank and will give me a call next morning. I waited for almost 1 week and I didn't get a callback. I called sales person and as soon as he answered call and knew my name he said to wait for 10 mins and he will give me a call back after talking with the manager. I waited whole day and I didn't get a callback. I tried to call him after 3 days but he didn't answer the call. When I checked online in their inventory I found they already sold that car to someone else.I wasted my time for that car and 2 times I drove there for 1.5 hours and at the end they sold it to someone else. Very unprofessional behavior by them. I would expect that instead of autoreply owner will personally look into it and see what is going in the store. If you don't want to sell a car then you should tell directly to the customer instead of make them waste their time.I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION OR SUGGEST ANYONE TO GO HERE FOR THEIR CAR PURCHASE. The video was about 10 minutes long without any skips and it being fully installed. I decided to have it done by them for convenience. I received a phone call and the women told me that it would be approximately 800 dollars. Keep in mind that the pan was 80 dollars from Hyundai themselves online. The service aid informed me that it would be 150 dollars for the pan and the remaining amount would be labor cost for approximately 2 hours of service so equating $325 an hour to have it completed. Knowing what I learned, I respectfully declined the service. Please be wary if you decide to bring your car to this service department and I whole heartily recommend that you research your issue prior to bringing it to them. When he picked up the car the next day there was only one key fob. When they took his trade they wanted to make sure that he had two fobs. When we insisted that they provide us with two fobs the salesman, Dan, said that's all they received when the car was traded. Not our problem. They had the car on their lot for several months before he purchased it and had plenty of time to order a new fob for the car and provide two fobs to the new buyer. We went two weeks and never heard back from them. Called Dan and he said he would have to pay for it out of his own pocket. Too bad Dan, not our problem. After several phone calls and text messages Dan finally ordered the fob. That took another two weeks to arrive. We would have to come to the dealership to get it programmed. I called to schedule an appointment and was tossed to 3 different areas and finally spoke with Brian who said come in we'll get it taken care of. 20 miles to the dealership and Brian says, oh, I had a key cut for your husband the other day. Sorry Brian, he's not even in the country! He gave me Dan's number and said call him, he's at Coastal Hyundai now. I call Dan and now have to drive another 15 miles to get the fob and have it programmed. Furious at this point. I get there and see Dan and he's still whining about it having to come out of his pocket. Too bad. Very poor customer service after their sale. If you buy from this dealer MAKE SURE you get EVERYTHING YOU ARE OWED ! Now Dan comes back as im sitting here writing this review and wants me to take the car to another location because the guy who programs these fobs is in another location. Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?! As long as I didn’t accelerate all was good. I was believing it was a sensor, or clogged injector. Got a hotel room. The next day, I was informed my engine is done. 2 weeks for repairs!! I was heading for NC to be with my 90 year old father!! I was willing to do whatever to be there I almost traded my car in for a car I wouldn’t like. I called the sales manager, and a salesperson. I’m so glad I did not!! I had a deal, so glad I thought this over. I have a warranty, the car is very nice, tires are a 100% The seat’s definitely not as comfy, no navigation, I tried too many times to link my phone, I was traveling with my dog. I could not leave the car running with air, go to the bathroom, and know my dog and running car were safe. I had to roll down the windows. I drove down the highway and the only way I could see my speed was to distract myself. Focus on the speedometer. Made me so glad I said no, I would luv an suv, but, every car I asked for cocoa, told me was unavailable They are linked to coastal. I believe, they saw a woman in distress, they thought , they had a lay down. Guess what, not!’ Service was to this point very acceptable. I have their brand new car. I believe they will be ok. I went in for a service to get my tire plugged from a nail. They said my tire was not pluggeable because it had 2 nails which was not true. They then tried to offer me to buy one tire at about $400. No worries, they'll blame you for having your e-pass transponder in the wrong place, despite the fault being a hardware defect of the car (verified by another dealership)! Scratched and dented while your car is waiting for weeks on their lot? No worries, they'll refuse to show you any intake photos and refuse to take responsibility.As a final indication of *excellent* service for a luxury brand, they'll refuse to warranty or service your vehicle should you attempt to hold them accountable to their own corporate offices.As of writing this review, my safety hazard of a car is sitting at their sister dealer's parking lot waiting to be towed away because the management for both locations refuse to be communicative, accountable, or informed.
