This place never disappoints. The matcha cheesecake is a revelation.Second visit was even better. No notes.Had bento Teriyaki chicken breast is spot on. Beef satai was out of this world. The madai and kinmidai are now one of my favorites, maybe more than maguro...maybe.This is top tier sushi in Utah. The quality of the sashimi is the best I have had in years. All 3 sashimi chefs choice of maguro, escolar, and salmon were delicious and clean tasting. I wasn't used to having basil with salmon, it works and it works very well. The maguro is the best quality I've ever seen or had in Utah. Period. Escolar was firm and not overly fatty like other places where it tends to be floppy and sad.The roll I had was a simple Philly with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Yum 😋Presentation is something I don't usually bring up suffice to say they do it better than any sushi establishment I've eaten at in Salt Lake County.The establishments decor is warm and welcoming with a friendly staff and surprisingly fast turnaround time from order to service.I'm very excited to come back and try more rolls and specials like the Toro and Uni.I also rarely give 5 stars so I really hope this place can keep it up, because you're now my new favorite sushi house in Utah.

We took the whole family, a family that can't agree on any one thing. We all found something to enjoy. The food is extremely delicious. My daughter can't wait to go again.

The food here is great, I always enjoy their rolls. However this last time I went the service was awful! We were checked up on once, and the server never even gave us our check! Another server cleaning a table next to us asked us if we were alright and got us our check. I am not sure if it was because me and my date were younger, but I am rethinking going back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I’ve been coming here since the OG location, and now they’ve moved dangerously close to my house. What used to be a special monthlyoccasion is now a “well, I guess I could walk over for sushi” situation. My bank account has filed several complaints.The food is consistently incredible. I keep ordering the Chef’s Special because apparently I enjoy giving up control and being rewarded for it. Somehow the chefs manage to impress me every single time. After years of eating here, I’ve yet to have a disappointing meal.As a parent of a child with a shrimp allergy, I especially appreciate how accommodating and careful everyone is. They always make us feel welcome and never make us feel like we’re being a hassle, which means a lot.The staff and owners are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They’re the type of people who remember customers, genuinely care, and somehow make every visit feel like you’re stopping by to see friends who happen to make amazing sushi.The menu is fantastic, the sake selection is excellent, and the prices are so reasonable that I can almost convince myself I’m being financially responsible. Almost.At this point, I should probably just set up direct deposit from my paycheck to this restaurant and save us all some time. If you’re looking for amazing sushi, wonderful people, and a place that will ruin all other sushi for you, this is it.

We had been meaning to try this place and now that we have, it’s our new favorite sushi spot in Utah!! Maybe our favorite restaurant all together.👀🤤 Everything was insanely fresh. The staff was wonderful and they were so knowledgeable and accommodating of my gluten allergy (most of the menu can be made gluten free.) We can’t say enough good things about Chopfuku. We’ll be back VERY soon! The atmosphere is so cool too. Most rolls were under $16.

We started going to Chopfuku because it had good ratings and they were close. They moved locations and we go out of our way to keep going they are so good. The new location is beautiful, everyone that I have brought has been impressed by the food and atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit

I don't usually leave not great reviews but I just wasn't impressed with this place. Everyone was walked to their table but the lady just told us second table to the back and we had to find it ourselves. We were told the kids menu was unavailable for the night however we saw other kids with items. We didn't recieve soy sauce besides in the little dish, it took 20 minutes for us to recieve the check and we weren't really checked on. It just felt really weird from the moment we walked in.The sushi was some of the best and the atmosphere was beautiful!! We just had terrible service unfortunately.
