I made an offer on a property and when I asked if they'll let me know if there was an offer higher than mine so I can make a counter offer, Joe assured me he would let me know. I asked him early the next day how my offer was compared to the others. No response all day until I receive an email saying that an offer was accepted and it was not mine. Bad experience.

Trying to sell my later mother's home, I contacted Utah house buyers. I spoke with Jake Bailey. Not one, not two, but three different contracts and every time they backed out minutes before due diligence was done. Then he wanted to do terms, he made me an offer we agreed on terms and when I went to sign the contract Jake had put a lower price than we'd agreed to. I asked him about it, and he admitted he'd hoped I wouldn't have caught it. At that point I was ready to walk away. Jake apologized and made the deal "even sweeter". He sent over the paperwork and I signed. Yep, he backed out again. I was done.
Then, out of nowhere I get a call from Jake weeks later. I did not answer. Then he begins texting me. He asked if I'd consider changing, or removing my reviews of the business, and offered to give $100 gift card if I agreed. I did not.
This has been a horrible experience.
