My daughter had her first haircut here. 3 years old, full three-nager tantrum mode. We had hairstylist Mell. Such a great experience! She was very proactive and tried her best while my daughter was just not having it. She was flexible and successfully cut her hair to my liking. I’ve been to different locations but she was the one brave enough to actually do it. Excellent service! Thank you so much.

I took my son for his first haircut here. I was nervous how he would be, but he was calm through the whole thing. From the chair, to putting on his favorite show, to having him play with a toy he like to make it less scary and not even realize what is going on. Everyone was super nice and the store was cute too.

Prior to visiting Sharkey's our 4 year old struggled to sit still during a hair cut, especially when the clippers would get around his ears.We've done movies or games while he's gotten his haircut before, but still wouldn't sit still long enough. The environment at Sharkey's is so fun and inviting! He loved the car chair and seemed so excited just to be there! Avery was amazing though! He didn't flinch or move and just sat the stillest we had ever seen! She is so sweet, soft spoken, and a great stylist! Will definitely be going back! Thank you Avery and Sharkey's!!

Melissa did a FANTASTIC job with my son. My son has had two haircuts before we found Melissa, each ending up with him screaming at the top of his lungs. Melissa was patient and sang along to songs with Ms Rachel. She interacted with him and made sure he was comfortable. That in itself, made me happy. Now the haircut? Flawless. Even though my son was squirming and looking all around, she managed to execute a perfect baby fade, cut the top so it was even, and even lined him up. I couldn’t be happier and she has definitely made us a repeat customer. Thank you, Melissa!

The staff is always friendly, but Avery is literally THE BEST we won’t see anyone else, my 3 yr old son used to cry and throw fits, until we had an appointment with Avery, she is so kind and patient explained the entire process to him, which helped him feel safe, plus she gets his mullet right every time! The prices did go up, I paid $42 including a $10 tip
