My son turned one the day before his first hair cut. Sharkey’s has a service called Boy’s first hair cut. The package came with a great haircut from a stylist who works with babies, a certificate to document the big day, a before/after picture print to bring home to document the memory, and a tiny baggie with his first hair clippings. He even got a balloon before leaving. Overall it was a great day. He didn’t cry and enjoyed his first hair cut.

We took our 13 month old for his first haircut and had the best experience. They were so patient. As you would expect, our son didn’t know what to think at first and was a bit scared, but they adapted and let him sit with me for his haircut so he was more comfortable. My son warmed up up and the hairdresser chatted with him and made him laugh. We will be coming here regularly from now on!

​I just have to shout out the amazing team at Alamo Ranch! We had a 2:30 appointment today (Sunday), and I was blown away by how the staff handles tough situations.Right when we walked in, there was a customer ahead of us who was being so incredibly difficult and condescending to the receptionist, Mara. I could see she was doing her absolute best to handle it, and even though it took about 10 minutes for us to finally get checked in because of that holdup, she still made sure to acknowledge us and smile. That rude customer ended up staying there for a good 20 minutes total, just completely holding up the line for everyone else.​A little bit after we sat down, I could tell Mara felt a little embarrassed to bring up the 5-minute late policy to me. I just reminded her that we were actually there well before the cutoff, but we just couldn’t get checked in on time because of the major holdup in front of us. She was so incredibly sweet, understood completely, and made sure we were taken care of! Mara seriously deserves a medal for being patient like that. 🏆🤍​Then we got to see Nancy, and oh my goodness, she is a total angel! 🌸 I brought my 2 year old who has a lot of sensory needs and was moving all over the place, but Nancy and her sweet son went absolutely above and beyond to keep him calm. She was so patient and had toys and a lollipop ready to help him sit down. Everything went so smoothly! Plus, seeing her son helping her sweep up the hair totally melted my heart. It just reminded me why Sharkey’s is such a warm, welcoming, family friendly place.​I really hate seeing customers bring that kind of entitlement and mistreat hard-working staff. This top-tier team deserves the utmost respect! Huge props to Mara, Nancy, and her awesome little helper—you guys have customers for life with us!

My daughter had a haircut with stylist Nancy. She was graceful and spoke genuinely to my daughter who is 7. She understood what we wanted very well.I liked the place because of all the options they give to the kids to distract them. It was clean but then again, the store had just opened. We were first customers of the day. Checkout was quick and painless especially on my wallet around $35 including a tip. My daughter had very long hair so I thought they would charge me. They got busy very fast so they definitely don’t loose business anywhere.

Alma is great with our son. She’s very patient and sweet to him. We always request her. She’s great at letting us dictate how we want his hair and patient with us if we need to tweak it a bit. The chairs are cars, which makes the experience way better for the kids. We are always offered the choice of turning on our son’s fav show on his own personal tv. It helps take his attention off the clippers. This is our place.

This is a great place to go for your kids, the staff are very friendly, very skilled at cutting hair for small children who like to move around all lot in the chair, and it's clean. We're going back every time for our kids to get their haircuts!

Took my niece and she liked this place. The staff was friendly and Patient with her . her hairdresser and the lady up front with the purple hair was super nice and Nothing felt chaotic or stressful like some of the other places I have been to .Overall just a really good vibe. And will be taking her back to this place when she comes in to town.

My 3yr old got her first cut and the experience was amazing. The stylist was very patient and was sure to explain everything to my daughter while doing it, from the hair wash, to haircut, and nails.
