The Army cannot tell it is not real, it is that realistic to behold! Only one Sergeant in the entire company at Logistics Support Squadron knows it is not real, the one I had to type a letter to to send to our Major to ask permission for this tattoo, as it is above the neckline. He has not told anyone. In addition, the policy regarding tattoos for military had changed due to a Soldier in Edmonton who did it without permission, challenged the system and the policy changed! My family who tried to dissuade me from committing to the procedure are shocked at how real it looks! My eldest sister is a cancer surgeon. Her jaw dropped, she had to feel it to comprehend it! Randy is an artist, extremely professional in his work. He does not rush or count the clock. This is not! HairClub for Men where you pay $7-9,000.00! It is much cheaper for people who have to budget and it does not cause great agony in a healing process! If I could wear my Relish pattern uniform (cadpat) for the picture I would, but I am not legally allowed to wear uniform for a picture to promote this work. This procedure is now legal in for all armed forces members in all three branches. Regular Force or Reservist. It does not require typing a memo to the chain of command. I am 12 years Regular Force army, posted to Kingston Ontario I am a veteran of Task Force Iraq. Even if I return to the desert, the heat or sun rays will not damage the effect of the artwork. I can walk around uncovered in 64 degree heat without the worry of it fading. I never have to bic my head everyday again.
