Allan and his great crew did a wonderful job on my back yard! They removed an existing retaining wall and built a new wall much closer to the rear of the property. They removed a significant amount of soil in front of the wall in order to level the yard (the house is on a hill). They created a small paved area big enough to hold a table and chairs. They extended an existing brick walkway to connect with the newly paved area. And, finally, they rebuilt the end of a brick driveway which had sunk over time and no longer aligned with the city walkway. A+++

We recently hired American Elm Landscape for a complete backyard transformation, including yard clean-up, the removal of a few small trees, and artificial turf installation, and we couldn't be happier with the results! The team was professional, punctual, and meticulous with the details. Our yard looks neat, vibrant, and completely refreshed, and the turf installation is seamless. Highly recommend them for any residential landscaping needs! They even came back and mulched the yard after the project was completed despite mulch not being part of the initial quotation. American Elm was able to meet and exceed our extremely tight time frame.

Allan and his team just completed a project on our patio/garden at the back of our Back Bay brownstone, and we couldn’t be happier. He was always available to discuss details, helped us in the planning, came through in a very timely manner, and walked us through our landscaping and “stone scape” needs. Because it was an urban garden, it was very important to us that the area be blocked off from any animals that might have entered in the past. He succeeded in fixing the problem permanently. He took care of every detail and surpassed our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend him and his company. We are more than happy with the result. He did an amazing job!

Allan and his team at American Elm Landscape are truly amazing! We came to them with a challenging project of wanted to transform our paved patio into a cozy dining and lounge space surrounded by planters with trees, plants, flowers that could provide shade and hide the AC unit and the garbage cans and they delivered! What’s more is that we wanted the privacy screen with flowers to be on wheels so that we could move it in case we needed to park the car on the patio and they found and installed big wheels that could get this done! They also created a step up garden for us in the yard space we had up the stairs and figured out a way to hang bistro lights across the patio with solar lights and stands. They offered a reasonable price, offered lots of expertise with design and did the work very fast! I’d love to work with them again!

I highly recommend this company. We needed to have our gravel driveway replaced. I walked past a driveway American Elm were repaving and Allan reassured me right away that he could do the job. He came promptly to give us an estimate and showed up on time to complete the job. Very professional and friendly.
