I had spend about 5 weeks in Cluj Napoca beginning on Aug 29th 2023 for a major dental work.
For privacy reasons I prefer not to disclose my real name, however I can show invoices and treatment related documents upon request to prove that this is a real review.
Based on someone's recommendation, someone that I trust dearly and lives in Cluj-Napoca, I had scheduled a consultation at Dentocalm in Cluj-Napoca.
My expectation was: a 3 to 4 implants, a done quickly deal. Well, it wasn't.
Things are not so simple as it might look at first.
After about a 30-minute consultation I was sent to do some blood work and a 3D panoramic, kind of MRI. This revealed my real dental situation: an abnormal occlusion I was advised to go through a major orthodontic work because 3 or 4 implants by themselves won't do it in the long run due to what was revealed by in the panoramic MRI and based on Dr Magda Crisan and Marius Pope assessments.
It took me a brief while to take in that kind of news. It was a major dental work I haven't see it coming. After a carefully reviewing of all pros and cons including financial related information, I went all in.
Had to extend my trip about 2 weeks and even so I was under time pressure give the complexity of the dental work that was about to go through.
This amazing team of highly trained, qualified and compassionate professionals, and I remember the names of only a few of them: Dr Maga Crisan, Dr Popa Marius, Dr Adrian Cristea moved heaven and earth to accommodate my timeline.
At times I spent up to 5 hours in the dentist chair, they did their best to make me feel painless and comfortable.
People around the office are not shy to crack jokes and I enjoyed that. After paying 3 to 4 visits per week, sometimes twice a day Dentocalm office had began to felt like home.
Here I learned to smile again. Smiling was not my coup of tea.
My first concern was to have a healthy denture, and I ended up having a very healthy one, and on the top of that I ended up with a movie star smile now. Awesome price quality ratio, including the airfare and other travel related expenses.
