HIRE SAM! Seriously, if you need a mobile mechanic, do yourself a favor, stop looking and CALL SAM. My neighbors battery light came on after a battery replacement just 2 weeks ago. We assumed it was alternator and called Sam to come out. We agreed on 5:30 but Sam showed up an hour EARLY! I literally learned something today. Sam showed me what he was doing and explained everything he did step by step. He SHOWED me that the alternator was working (instead of just telling me), he showed me that the fuses were fine, and then he showed me what the problem was. A sensor cable was disconnected! The guy at AAA that replaced the battery, had forgotten to plug the sensor back in! The connector was also a little damaged, so he taped it up so it was secure and explained that it would hold until the next mechanic replaced the battery in a few years. I have never had a mechanic TEACH me how to troubleshoot something wrong with my car before. He could have easily said it was alternator, taped the sensor and walked away with an extra $250. Instead, he was HONEST and taught me something about cars. AND they come to YOU 24/7??? I literally found the mechanic of my dreams today lol! Highly recommend! After driving my car for a while, I realized Sam was 100% correct and I reached out to him to have the front done. The price was even better this time around and he finally fixed my problem!! The issue was with alternator. They changed the alternator for me, recharged the AC and problem was fixed.
