I have never left a bad Google review before...but there is a first time for everything. I had a terrible, disheartening experience with this business.I had an appointment with Dr. Anya on July 3rd. During that appointment she said we both had some homework to do. My homework was to send her my recent labs and to make an appointment with a specialist. Her homework was to review my lab work and follow up with me. Immediately after we got off our call, I emailed her my labs, and by July 5, I had scheduled an appointment with a specialist. By July 18th, I still hadn't heard anything from Dr. Anya or the staff. I called the office and left messages with staff. On July 18 I was told that the doctor was extremely busy, and my file would be moved to the top of her list. On August 1st, I was told that I could expect a call back from the doctor by the end of the day. I finally got a hold of a manager, the doctor's husband, on August 5 after calling a number of times (over a month after my July 3rd appointment). He told me that Dr. Anya would call me between 10-12 the next day.I freed up my schedule for her call, and I did not hear from her until 12:40 on August 6th. It was so loud and noisy in the background. It sounded like the call was on speaker phone, and she was in a large room where at least 2 other conversations were taking place. I mentioned to her that it was hard to hear her, and she said, let me try to turn it up, is that better? It was not, but I wanted to continue the call as it had been so difficult to get in touch with her. Later in the short (4 minute) conversation, it became nearly impossible to hear her, and I had to ask at least once for her to repeat herself. The quality of the audio did not improve at all throughout the call. It seemed to actually get worse. She mentioned that I had slipped through the cracks, and that that was her fault. Additionally, Dr. Anya said that she was missing glucose and cholesterol levels from my blood work. I opened the email I had sent to her office on July 3rd, and confirmed that glucose and cholesterol were included, so at the time of the call, she didn't even have the correct documents in front of her and was not prepared. When I told her that at this point, I no longer had confidence or trust in her office or services, and that I would like to be refunded, she said OK, Marni, I will have a manager reach out to you, goodbye, and hung up the phone. The manager sent me an email on August 14 saying that they couldn't refund me but that they could offer one additional appointment at no cost. At this point, I don't want the doctor's office treating me at all.I've never experienced such negligence or poor customer service in my life and from a holistic medicine practice no less and in a time of need and vulnerability. I highly advise that you avoid this business and take your resources elsewhere.
