I hired Remodeling Network LLC to handle a roofing job for me. Ed came out to speak to me and told me upfront that his company was NOT the cheapest but that he could guarantee a first-class result. Before hiring Remodeling Network, I obtained several estimates, mostly from lowballers or fly-by-nighters. Ed told me right away what the project would cost and further encouraged me to shop around. I tossed out the lowballers and any company that consisted of two guys, a pickup truck and a ladder. Ed was patient throughout the bidding process. I happened upon one "reputable" local company that wanted almost double what Remodeling Network wanted to do the job. I told the owner the next day that Remodeling LLC would do the work at about half the cost. Half an hour later, the guy calls me back to say that, well, due to tax breaks and warranty changes, he would do the project at Ed's price. I told him to pound sand and erased his number from my phone and called Ed. The next day we had a signed contract stipulating what was to be done, when where and how down to the last detail. Ed did warn me that weather could possibly cause delays, which I expected but we only lost one or two days to rain. As the project included a complete tearoff of two old layers of shingles, I expected a bit of time would pass before everything could be done. Not so. There was a dumpster on site the following day and the day after that, his crew got going. These guys do NOT let moss grow under their feet. They are a hard working group and a pleasure to work with. They did find a relatively minor structural issue, Ed told me about it and we immediately reached a fair price to do the extra work. He then chose a contractor for our job (Alex Duque from ADS Renovation Group) and told us we need to put our $32,000 deposit down ASAP. We did. This business is an absolute scam!!! Ed came to our house in 2021 to discuss a total home renovation. We liked him, he seemed to know his stuff. He then chose a contractor for our job (Alex Duque from ADS Renovation Group) and told us we need to put our $32,000 deposit down ASAP. We did. Ed made a lovely 10% off that $32k and never looked back. My family got all our drawings, approvals, variances etc to move forward with our project, even moved everything out of our house to get started only to find out that Alex (who ED chose to do our renovation) isn't even a licensed contractor and has been accused of insurance fraud on multiple occasions! My wife and I built confidence with Ed. I am a tactical builder type who has dabbled in advanced DIY; My wife is more of a i want this, make it happen for cheap. Ed stays with you through the whole process and execution. After the initial consult, Ed has a draftsman build concept drawings - you pay for these - a must to control risk on the program and keep your costs in check. The next visit is a review of the drawings. Following that you will receive estimates from Ed - he aggregates everything including your own contractors if you require it. We had one fro some custom work we thought the original contractor may be the best to continue with. I've been working with Ed and Remodelling Network for the past six months. Ed has assisted me from the beginning, by accompanying me on initial property showings to help me determine a reasonable offer, based on the estimated cost of renovations and repairs. Once I selected a property for my fix and flip project, Ed consulted with contractors from his Network, who performed a separate walkthrough of the property, to provide us with a firm estimate based on the scope of work that we agreed on. Ed's estimates were Right on Target and in some cases Ed was able to negotiate a lower price with the vendors from his Network. Once the project was underway, Ed made regular visits to the work site to monitor the status of the project and he provided me with progress photos on a weekly basis. Ed created a comprehensive payment schedule based on the scope of work to be performed at every stage of the project, and advised me when it was appropriate to release payment to the contractors or when we should hold our payment back until certain additional work was completed. Ed handled any issues that arose with the contractors regarding the pace at which they were working or the quality of their work. Our estimated turnaround time for completion of the project was 8 weeks. Due to significant amounts of rain that delayed our work on the exterior of the property, and an unexpected plumbing issue, we were able to complete the project in 10 weeks. The "plumbing issue" involved a leaking water heater that required us to replace the water heater and the ceiling in the room below it. Notwithstanding that additional, unexpected repair, Ed kept our project on budget by re-prioritizing other items in our overall scope of work. When I called the office, I spoke to Ed and told him I had a retaining wall that was leaning and if someone could come out to take a look. I met Ed and he looked at the wall and told me the original contractor failed to install proper drainage. The good news was he said I could reuse my retaining wall blocks. He called a excavator on his network and met out at my home. I got his price he was 10,000.00 less. The job came out great. Ed came by to meet with my husband to see the upstairs bathroom. He took measurements and quoted a price and wrote up the contract and referred us to Manny Sibri general contractor home improvements. Manny came to meet with both me and my husband and saw the bathroom and also had the contract with him as well. We paid Manny the money believing that he was going to be the one doing the actual work with his guys. Unfortunately that isn't how it happened at all. Manny gave the job to someone that never had any experience doing a bathroom at all. According to Manny, Willie (the guy that he gave the job to) did one job prior to him and it was painting someone's basement. I'm like are you kidding me?? According to Manny he felt bad for Willie because he has a wife with 4 kids. It was very irresponsible on Manny's part to give the entire job to someone who had zero experience with a bathroom. If anything Manny should have been here everyday assisting Willie to help him. Instead Manny used excuses saying Wille didn't want to submit to anyone. Yeah right!! In the end Manny had to came back and fix the entire mess that was created by Willie. If you decide to use this company please use them with caution. Less

My wife found Remodeling Network on Facebook and I was skeptic because of past experiences with Other contractors but I needed work done so we gave them a chance. Ed came to my house, he was on time, dressed professional and most Importantly we didn’t feel like he was trying to Sell us something on the spot. He explained their value proposition of finding the right contractor for the specific scope of work we wanted performed and I personally found the refreshing because not all GC’s are good at everything. We wanted our basement remodeled but we needed help with design in the small space we have. We have 3 kids, we wanted to maximize storage space but also create an area for kids to hang out and have a Saturday family movie night. Ed took notes, we spoke budget ranges and when he left he promised to have us a proposal within 3 business days. My wife said great! I said yea sure because our budget wasn’t that high so I figured he would not even send a proposal over. To my surprise 3 days later he honored his promise, it was detailed and professional and had payment terms that was in line with our budget. Ed sent his team over and passed on our project to a PM that walk us through every step of the way. He checked in several times on us and when we hit a snag, he stopped by and offered suggestions. The finished product exceeded our expectations and yes it’s always longer timeframe and more money then you first budget, that’s just construction!
