NorthWest Speciality Painting is an exceptionally professional, friendly, and experienced painting team who provided us with above and beyond attention to detail and great communication throughout our exterior painting project. Nikki and Kenneth clearly outlined the project and timeframe, set exacting expectations with reasonable and competitive costs, answered all of our questions, and then they and their fabulous team met and or exceeded our every expectation! Hannah, Jerry, and Scott all went out of their way to make sure that every last detail regarding my four-color exterior paint project was done professionally and with great care. The meticulously caulked and repainted siding made the whole 2006 house exterior look brand new! Their extra care and attention to detail made all the difference when it came to the sharp, clean paint lines and beautiful job they did. From prep work, to paint, to cleanup, no important step was overlooked and In my opinion, they all went above and beyond. We highly, highly recommend this painting team! When we are ready to paint our interior, NorthWest Specialty Painting, without a doubt, is who we will certainly call.

Northwest Specialty Painting did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our home. We solicited bids from four contractors in the Treasure Valley and, while we found all very professional and competent, we chose Northwest Specialty, and here is why:• They are a family-owned business, and all their employees are W-2 employees. They don’t use any subcontractors.• They bid on our contract using the highest quality Sherman Williams paint available.• We viewed two other properties they recently painted and spoke with the property owners. They were both very happy with the work provided and spoke highly of the entire crew that worked on their home.• Prior to painting our home, Nikki provided some photographs of our home in different color palettes, as we were considering a color change. We eventually decided to repaint the existing colors, but it was very helpful to see our house in a different look.• Crews showed up when expected and did exceptional work. They were friendly, professional, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day.We couldn’t be more pleased with the results! I would highly recommend Northwest Specialty to anyone considering painting their home.

Awesome experience with NWSP! Great communication and the paint crew that showed up was very professional and quick. I was surprised how tidy they were through the entire job. The one thing that gave them the above and beyond in my books was their willingness to work around my very wonky schedule. They were extremely accommodating in the very specific times I had available for the work to be done. Thank you and I will absolutely be reaching out for future jobs!

Northwest Specialty Painting is awesome 👏 We will definitely use them again for future paint jobs! They are local and family owned. We prefer to support local small business owners.NWSP just did a small job for us and did excellent work! Highly recommend!!! Our painter had to do a lot of sanding of the old Verathane and prep/seal cracks in the wood with wood putty before priming. Both front and back of our home were done. Very professional job!! We are very pleased!!Absolutely more than 5 stars 💯!!!Thank you NWSP!!!

Need your house painted? Looking for nice detail oriented people who take a lot of pride in their work? Looking for fair pricing and no "extra costs" once the job is done? My choice for all of the above was Northwest Specialty Painting, and I couldnt be happier with my decision.I saw a neighbor had their house painted by Northwest and it looked great. A friend was also looking into painters and got bids from many, including another painter I had used previously for an interior project, and Northwest. Northwest was his choice because of the competitiveness in cost and other factors. This helped me make my decision to use Northwest Specialty Painting. From the bid with Kenneth, to the completion of painting, and cleanup, everything went smooth and everyone I spoke with was very friendly. My home was painted in 3 Sherwin Williams exterior Emerald satin colors and the attention to detail in the paint job was superb! Nice, clean, straight lines where colors come together.Prior to painting, Northwest came out and power washed every inch of my home that was to be painted. When the paint job started, every area that needed caulking was meticulously filled. Next, the masking was done very well. Columns out back that needed to be painted, where they met concrete, were masked well and no paint ended up where it shouldn't be. Same for the rest of the job.Next, primer was applied, and if I have this correct, an elastomer is part of it and it fills in these small cracks. Where bigger cracks exist, that don't fill in correctly, they use an alternate product. I don't think I had any of that applied. The result, however, is that for all the cracks I had, I now have zero! Areas of my home looked bad with a lot of cracks in the stucco, and there are now zero! All rain gutters and downspouts were painted, with the latter all being removed, painted and reassembled. Having the gutters and downspouts all match the colors on my home makes it look so good!Any time I asked the crew how things were going, they were happy to share where they were at in the process and what was next. Every day they would check in when they were done and when they could be expected the next day.My metal chimney topper needed paint and that was redone in a high heat black. I had another area that needed the same paint and that was done well also. All the runs were sanded out prior to getting painted. My corbels were all sealed with varathane and where gable vents were adjacent to paint or rock, they were masked well so as to not get any paint where it shouldn't be. The attention to detail in every aspect of the paint job was great! The final day was finishing the trim, and all of that done by hand. This, along with final touch up on any area of the house and reassembly of all the painted downspouts, concluded in a beautiful paint job.My thanks to everyone at Northwest Specialty Painting for a job very well done, from start to finish!

I've always wanted white cabinets. Now I have them and they're exactly as I hoped. The team who did the work were on time, careful in their craft, polite and efficient. If I had another kitchen, I'd do this again.

I was impressed from my first phone call until the final communication. The team at Northeast Specialty Painting are the real deal to include the painter and his team. Everyone was kind, helpful, interested in my wishes, professional and wonderful to work with. I am very pleased with my little house redo.

We cannot give enough praises to Northwest Specialty Painting. Their communication with us throughout the whole process was second to none. They guided us and advised us through the whole project. All of our phone calls were answered promptly and questions were addressed with knowledge and confidence. So, thank you very much for that, Jeremy. The painting crew, Tom, Omar and Michael were experienced and cared about the end results as much as we did as homeowners. Thank you very much for a pleasant and stress free experience. We highly recommend Northwest Specialty Painting.

The paint job of my home by NorthWest Specialty Painting was done well and I appreciated that the owner of the company came to do a final inspection to make sure things were completed to our satisfaction. All necessary repairs were tended to before painting and the crew did a good job picking up after themselves each day.The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 involved communication mishaps. I thought the house would be painted in the spring (scheduler had initially communicated the job would start by end of April), but the job was pushed out a couple of months and I wasn’t brought up to speed, so wondered if we’d been forgotten. Also, the crew had missed prepping some of the structures that were to be addressed in the work order, so I had to bring attention to the matter. Things were quickly rectified.I recommend Northwest Specialty Painting to others since they performed a thorough paint job of my house, garden shed and gazebo, demonstrated integrity, and were responsive to my concerns.

Tom, Jeremy, and Grant did a great job painting the exterior of our home. Tom spent 2 full days preping our exterior and was very thorough. Thanks guys for a job well done.

These guys are so professional. We have 7 buildings with lots of details I like painted in different colors. Two different crews worked on things. They scraped and caulked them all then primed and painted. We are very happy with everything. Highly recommend!

We are thrilled with the results of the exterior painting that NWSP did on our house. There's not on drop of paint anywhere, Tom and Brandon were so careful with their taping and protecting areas that weren't to be painted. Plus, they were fun guys to chat with. I highly recommend NWSP for your painting needs, you can't beat the quality and the price. You won't be disappointed.2 months later:As I've been working around this house (we moved here in September and it needed a lot of TLC) I'm even more impressed with the quality of the paint job. They even painted behind light timer boxes, and thankfully so because I've removed them and I didn't have to paint anything! I am seriously impressed and I'll admit that I'm a bit picky about the details. Thank you again.

Couldn't be happier! EVERYONE was super nice and friendly. From start to finish, great communication and all my questions were answered.

NW Specialty Painting did a great job on our house in Baker! Our home is an older home with complicated shake siding and intricate trim. The crew worked with us to get the paint right and they made the experience smooth and easy for us. The final bill was very fair considering the extra work they put in on the guest house and garage. Communication was great from the estimate to the final punch list. Awesome company to get work with!

2026-06-02T00:59:51.871Z

Jeremy and crew were great to work with, including accommodating my extremely variable schedule and extremely last minute changes from my side. The duo that conquered my project was extremely fast, but equally thorough, masking, priming, and painting my 4 car garage over two days, including dealing with a corner tucked water softener system that I thought would be a pain to paint around + removing and re-installing a bunch of can lights and navigating around random car parts and other stuff from move-in that were thrown all over the place. I was honestly concerned with how fast they did everything until I went out after completion and got to see the end result.. there was soooo much to mask that I expected them to have missed something, oversprayed somewhere, etc., but nope! The space is totally transformed, matching what I always dreamed of, and is now ready for the final touches (organization and storage haha). Definitely recommend calling them up if you're looking to give your garage some love, especially on new construction.. the space gets no love from builders in these new developments, so if you're like me and retreat to the garage for peace, projects, and motivation, get the walls smoothed or textured and then call up Jeremy!

NWSP did an outstanding job with our exterior paint job. Great customer service and attention to detail. Our painters Tom and Brandon were great to work with and went the extra mile on their work. We'll have them paint it again and again.
