Need your house painted? Looking for nice detail oriented people who take a lot of pride in their work? Looking for fair pricing and no "extra costs" once the job is done? My choice for all of the above was Northwest Specialty Painting, and I couldnt be happier with my decision.I saw a neighbor had their house painted by Northwest and it looked great. A friend was also looking into painters and got bids from many, including another painter I had used previously for an interior project, and Northwest. Northwest was his choice because of the competitiveness in cost and other factors. This helped me make my decision to use Northwest Specialty Painting.From the bid with Kenneth, to the completion of painting, and cleanup, everything went smooth and everyone I spoke with was very friendly.My home was painted in 3 Sherwin Williams exterior Emerald satin colors and the attention to detail in the paint job was superb! Nice, clean, straight lines where colors come together.Prior to painting, Northwest came out and power washed every inch of my home that was to be painted.When the paint job started, every area that needed caulking was meticulously filled. Next, the masking was done very well. Columns out back that needed to be painted, where they met concrete, were masked well and no paint ended up where it shouldn't be. Same for the rest of the job.Next, primer was applied, and if I have this correct, an elastomer is part of it and it fills in these small cracks. Where bigger cracks exist, that don't fill in correctly, they use an alternate product. I don't think I had any of that applied. The result, however, is that for all the cracks I had, I now have zero! Areas of my home looked bad with a lot of cracks in the stucco, and there are now zero!All rain gutters and downspouts were painted, with the latter all being removed, painted and reassembled. Having the gutters and downspouts all match the colors on my home makes it look so good!Any time I asked the crew how things were going, they were happy to share where they were at in the process and what was next. Every day they would check in when they were done and when they could be expected the next day.My metal chimney topper needed paint and that was redone in a high heat black. I had another area that needed the same paint and that was done well also. All the runs were sanded out prior to getting painted. My corbels were all sealed with varathane and where gable vents were adjacent to paint or rock, they were masked well so as to not get any paint where it shouldn't be. The attention to detail in every aspect of the paint job was great!The final day was finishing the trim, and all of that done by hand. This, along with final touch up on any area of the house and reassembly of all the painted downspouts, concluded in a beautiful paint job.My thanks to everyone at Northwest Specialty Painting for a job very well done, from start to finish!

The paint job of my home by NorthWest Specialty Painting was done well and I appreciated that the owner of the company came to do a final inspection to make sure things were completed to our satisfaction. All necessary repairs were tended to before painting and the crew did a good job picking up after themselves each day.The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 involved communication mishaps. I thought the house would be painted in the spring (scheduler had initially communicated the job would start by end of April), but the job was pushed out a couple of months and I wasn’t brought up to speed, so wondered if we’d been forgotten. Also, the crew had missed prepping some of the structures that were to be addressed in the work order, so I had to bring attention to the matter. Things were quickly rectified.I recommend Northwest Specialty Painting to others since they performed a thorough paint job of my house, garden shed and gazebo, demonstrated integrity, and were responsive to my concerns.

These guys are so professional. We have 7 buildings with lots of details I like painted in different colors. Two different crews worked on things. They scraped and caulked them all then primed and painted. We are very happy with everything. Highly recommend!

We are thrilled with the results of the exterior painting that NWSP did on our house. There's not on drop of paint anywhere, Tom and Brandon were so careful with their taping and protecting areas that weren't to be painted. Plus, they were fun guys to chat with. You won't be disappointed.2 months later:As I've been working around this house (we moved here in September and it needed a lot of TLC) I'm even more impressed with the quality of the paint job. NW Specialty Painting did a great job on our house in Baker! Our home is an older home with complicated shake siding and intricate trim. The crew worked with us to get the paint right and they made the experience smooth and easy for us. The final bill was very fair considering the extra work they put in on the guest house and garage. Jeremy and crew were great to work with, including accommodating my extremely variable schedule and extremely last minute changes from my side. The duo that conquered my project was extremely fast, but equally thorough, masking, priming, and painting my 4 car garage over two days, including dealing with a corner tucked water softener system that I thought would be a pain to paint around + removing and re-installing a bunch of can lights and navigating around random car parts and other stuff from move-in that were thrown all over the place. I was honestly concerned with how fast they did everything until I went out after completion and got to see the end result.. there was soooo much to mask that I expected them to have missed something, oversprayed somewhere, etc., but nope! The space is totally transformed, matching what I always dreamed of, and is now ready for the final touches (organization and storage haha). Definitely recommend calling them up if you're looking to give your garage some love, especially on new construction.. the space gets no love from builders in these new developments, so if you're like me and retreat to the garage for peace, projects, and motivation, get the walls smoothed or textured and then call up Jeremy!

I would definitely recommend this company to others. We had them paint the downstairs of a house that hadn’t been painted in many years but had several layers of old paint on the walls. They took a very old house and made it look good again.

We will never go to any other company. Ken and Nikki are professional and kind - treat us like family. Jeremy and James are an amazing crew who work quickly, provide top notch work and are always friendly and willing to stop and chat with us pesky owners. This time, they did our outbuildings to match our house (which they did in 2022). You can’t tell the difference! The new work is a perfect match and the “old” work was done so well, that you can’t tell there is almost 4 years between jobs! Next project will be in the inside of the house!
