Ben and Megan’s place was the perfect stay for a weekend away in Daylesford! The place was also a short walk into town to all the pubs/restaurants/cafes. The lounge was super cosy with the fire going after a walk around the lake. Ben and Megan were also full of great local recommendations and really helpful throughout our stay! Would definitely stay again!

Ben’s place was just beautiful. Elegant and very chic. The house has everything you could want with the location being exceptional as it is right on the lake and within walking distance of the famous Michelin star Lakehouse Restaurant. Ben is amazingly responsive and assisted me twice within minutes of my queries. This house is perfect for couples with their four legged babies, and has all that you need for a relaxing weekend. Its location makes it a standout for daily walks around the magnificent Lake Daylesford. You won’t be disappointed.

We booked this as a last-minute getaway, and I couldn’t be happier! We had such a wonderful stay that we ended up booking an extra night because we honestly didn’t want to leave.This beautiful home has a modern, moody aesthetic that feels incredibly cosy, especially in winter. The fireplace was a highlight and made the perfect spot to relax after exploring.The king bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, and the spacious bedroom, beautifully appointed bathroom and spa bath made the stay feel extra special. The downstairs kitchen and living area had everything we needed and was very comfortable.The location is fantastic. We walked the lake trail both mornings, which was absolutely beautiful, and it’s an easy walk into the town centre for cafés, restaurants and shops.The hosts were lovely, helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Our only regret was not bringing our two Chihuahuas, as they would have loved it too! Highly recommend this Airbnb as a Daylesford getaway!

It was an exceptional stay, a modern and luxurious unit with excellent features, great location and amenities close by and perfectly located on the lake. Ben’s communication from the beginning until check in was responsive and helpful with providing recommendations and preparing us for the stay. We really enjoyed the fire place and open living, especially during the cold rainy weather. A bit disappointed in the lack of bath towels we stayed for 2 nights and were given only 2 and a few hand towels.

We had a really beautiful and enjoyable stay in Daylesford. The property itself was lovely, well presented and relaxing in a great location. One of our queries during our stay didn’t get answered by the host, however the accommodation itself was fantastic and we had a wonderful experience.

Quaint and homely place just on the outskirts of the heart of Daylesford. It was the perfect staycation to get away from the busy Melbourne city and to have a place filled with farm to table food, great hot chocolate, tasty bakery items and just a place to have some peace and quiet. Not to mention the fireplace and bath was an excellent addition in the cold leading up to Winter. Ben and Cassey were excellent hosts, always responsive and proactive in recommendations in the Daylesford area. Would book again!

Amazing location! Small things in the house take away from the luxury you pay for. I booked for 1 night - no towels, lock on front door needs paint around it, toilet upstairs dirty, cleaning rag next to hot tub, dust on some surfaces, BBQ is not on balcony, small hole in flat sheet, only one of the provided phone chargers could be used. I do not consider the place “dog friendly”. They didn’t charge me for my assistance dog but did charge for my older dog. I feel the fee is excessive in light of the fact that the place wasn’t even clean enough after people. I was offered to stay another night for $200. After I accepted, a request was sent for additional $100/night because of my pet dog (cleaning fee). They reduced it to $50 but I couldn’t justify that. I clean up after my dogs, and a cleaner has to clean the house anyway. In light of above cleanliness issues it was aggravating. One cannot call themselves “dog friendly” and also penalise guests for bringing dogs. Not returning.

Absolutely loved our stay in Daylesford. Ben’s place was in a perfect location on the lake. We were able to walk into Daylesford and around the lake. The town is so lovely with an array of shops and restaurants. The house is a perfect size for 2 people, very well equipped and the log fire was a definite bonus on the cold evenings. Ben and his team were very responsive to our enquiries and such a delight to work with. I would highly recommend staying at Ben’s house if you are heading to Daylesford.
