this was literally so good and amazing. on 1pm on a sunday, we only had to wait 10 minutes for two people. the coffees were so good. i recommend an iced vanilla latte and the iced spanish latte! you can’t go wrong with any of them. every single person was so nice. our waiter, david, was literally the GOAT! he was so attentive and friendly! definitely request david as your waiter. the food was amazing. the tres leches french toast was phenomenal and the omelette was spectacular. go here if you’re in san jose!! the food came out pretty quick and our drinks too. wasn’t that busy!

I’ve been coming to Garden’s Gate Cafe since they opened, and it’s always a great experience. The vibe is super comfortable and welcoming. I usually hang out at the bar, where Anna, Leo, or Juan always take awesome care of me providing friendly, attentive, and just really solid service. The whole menu is good, but my go‑tos are the ranchero steak and eggs or the Cobb salad. Both hit the spot every time. And Elizabeth, the manager, is fantastic — she clearly cares about keeping the place running at a really high level.

The Garden Gate board was perfect for sharing. Our server Itzel was so attractive and helpful since it was our 1st time here. She suggested the banana latte (delicious).
