I would highly recommend Zara for your student my child arising 10th grader was feeling nervous about geometry each week the lessons were engaging the facilitator Karen did a wonderful job giving my daughter the right amount of work lesson and helped her skills improve. Karen came prepared each lesson and now my daughter feels very confident taking the course at school with her classmates. She even remarked that the stuff she is exposed to now is not as challenging due to the Zara tutoring she said that the 11th graders are just learning some things that she learned one-on-one with her tutor. Zara tutoring was recommended to us by a college planning service we are using. My son and I met with Tom over zoom and I knew right away that he had the right tools to improve SAT scores. There are tips, tricks and strategies for this new online version that go far beyond rote memorization.My son completed the 10 week class before his SAT and his practice tests continually improved throughout the class. Zara tutoring has a very detailed way to record progress that is easy to interpret. His score improved about 150 points from before taking Tom’s class. The great thing is you have all the videos and resources from Tom’s class, so when he takes it again he can review the materials. Zara tutoring was the best decision! My daughter needed to be ready for algebra 1 during the summer . She did the math summer acceleration program with Gabe and it was fantastic ! She enjoyed all the sessions and she was able to cover all the pre algebra material she needed to . Our son used the 10-week SAT prep course for an extra boost before taking his second SAT. Compared to other tutoring programs, this was well balanced and didn't involve hours of homework and in-person/virtual sessions. He was able to knock out the lessons over the summer without feeling overwhelmed by the content. This could easily be done during the school year while also juggling school coursework and after school activities. He improved quite a bit and we feel it was well worth the money we spent. Highly recommend.

Tom is not only an amazing teacher but an amazing human. He is extremely knowledgeable in various subjects. I worked with him in 2020 and 2021 and to this day, I still use the test-taking techniques and math skills he taught me during our SAT prep classes. His program helped me become a proficient test taker, which I find has helped me outshine other students, as this is a struggle many students face. Not only can Tom teach necessary SAT skills, but he is an adult I continue to look up to because of his leadership, dedication, and motivation to help students.

Zara tutoring has been great for my 11 th grader this year. When she was having a hard week in math- we easily made an appt. We’ve worked with 3 different tutors- all fantastic. My daughter reported a much better understanding of the material after each visit. Prior to Zara we had tried several options that were not the right fit.We will keep Zara in her 12 th grade toolbox and as a parent I will use for my younger kids as they progress in school.
