Beauty Boss Lady Acadamy is scammers. I paid for my daughters online powder brow course.Her practical was scheduled in Bloemfontein. She requested the practical to be changed to Pretoria, but was told she needed to pay R4000.00 to rescheduled as all arrangements and bookings was already done in Bloemfontein. At about 12h00 midday the day before practical when we were about one hour away from Bloemfontein, having traveled closed to 500 km , my daughter received a whatsapp msg saying the practical exam has been canceled due to a student canceling and new dates will be conveyed. The hotel was already booked and payed for in Bloemfontein, traveling expenses, my leave expenses for taking her there and the expensed for the model, plus food etc. I told her she should call and ask whats happening but no one answered. We proceeded to Bloem as it was winter and turning back would make us get caught driving in the dark. She we arrived at the hotel we called again, but no one answered. The next day we proceeded to the venue to make enquiries. The lady at the exam venue said no venue was booked and there was no cancelation. We asked her to call lady boss as she said she previouly rented the venue to Candice. Mikhaila was responsible for my daughter. The lady called Candice, Candice said she new nothing of the practical exam booking and will call Mikhaila then she will get back to my daughter. . Candice never called back. Mikhaila called and told my daughter they would refund her the full course amount to make up for inconvenience and her expenses, and she will be scheduled for exam/ practical in Pretoria. My daughter had to send through her banking details. To date no payment received and this happened May 2026, 04 months ago. When she call they say finance attending to it. They gave her new dates in Pretoria, but the risk of the incident happening again of canceling is big, especially seeing that they did not refund her. The hotel and other expenses amounted to +/- R8000.00 the course refund would only be R4950.00 if they honored it. Amounting to a loss in any case. This Boss Lady Company s a disgrace to woman and woman empowerment. Please do not enroll. You will e scammed!!!
