I needed work done for a filter leak that went through my bedroom carpet and down to the bottom floor. I requested a detailed breakdown of services and pricing multiple times, left a voicemail and texted the manager, but received no response. The technician eventually provided a verbal estimate, and I specifically asked whether they would replace the carpet and patch the ceiling holes. He said yes. I also requested the service details and cost in writing鈥攂ut never received them. After the work was completed, I paid a generic invoice. Four days later, when he wanted to get his equipment, the manager informed me there would be additional charges for fixing the carpet and ceiling holes鈥攃osts that were never mentioned during my discussions with the technician or anyone else. I could understand if I hadn鈥檛 specifically asked about it, but I did, and no other charges were disclosed. I was going to hold the equipment but it wasn't even worth the fight.Make sure you get a complete written cost breakdown before any work begins. Too many companies take advantage of customers this way. I鈥檒l take responsibility for not insisting on the full scope of work upfront, but as a business owner myself, I know how things should be handled鈥攚ith integrity. Unfortunately, this company does not operate that way.My advice: get a quote somewhere else.
