My kids was super nervous the first day or so .. but the staff and other families has made us feel at home .. plus the kids are learning all kinds of self defense all while having so much fun !… highly recommend for anyone

Shihan Caleb Skinner and Sensai Candace Amyx are phenomenal! Almost 6 years ago, we visited several dojos before deciding where to start my sons martial arts journey. After watching one class...we knew we had found the right place. I recommend Skinners Martial Arts/ Transform Academy to everyone from beginner to advanced status. They will meet you where you are on your individual journey while still challenging you to be better than you were yesterday. I have watched my son transform with self confidence, self discipline and respect for all things. I wish I could give them a 10 ☆ rating.

We love this dojo and all the people who make it the truly unique place that it is. It's very family friendly and the instructors will meet you where you're at. They don't pressure you. We've visited a lot of dojos in the past and many give off intense "bro-jo" vibes. That's just not how it is here. The instructors are very humble and committed to their students. The sheer number of female students at this dojo speaks to the environment of respect the instructors have cultivated. Excellent place, worth the 45 minute drive both ways 3-5x per week!

AWESOME!!! This is the place and they have the Best people! Both my daughters go here and I happily drive them 40 minutes (one way) to get here. Definitely worth it! Highly recommend Transform Academy!

A must try! If you're wanting to work on YOURSELF this would be the first place to give a chance. Yes it's a school for self defense but that's not why I gave it a try. There's so many hidden gems to discover from increasing your balance, to speaking in front of large groups, all while being guided by the best you'll ever find.

Caleb and Candace are tremendously passionate about karate and jiu-jitsu, and you can feel it in every class and private lesson. But more importantly, they are excellent teachers. Those are few and far between.
