The estimate was detailed & fair for a total roof replacement with re-deck; we were scheduled in a reasonable time frame, and when they arrived the crew took every precaution to protect our home and surrounding areas - flowerbeds, shrubs, windows, etc. - from any damage. The ScissorTail Foreman was present throughout the day checking on us and the crew. The crew worked efficiently without sacrificing quality. Any question or concern I had, they listened and did their best to accommodate. Once finished, they did a thorough walk-around to clean up all debris. They’re attentive, responsive, friendly, and respectful. My family & I are very pleased with our new roof & gutters; we’re grateful for the ScissorTail team and will call them again whenever we have any roofing needs.

Scissortale did a great job repairing our roof 3 years ago. When we had a problem with a small leak they came right out and repaired it. Our contact person was very responsive. They also repaired it under warranty.

They are far beyond the norm for getting the best support, documentation , for insurance claims, restoration and reroofing which they did on our entire property portfolio. Matt Morgan is the absolute best at working with your insurance claim reps and the most thorough estimator, negotiator and performing the huge necessary function of an insurance claim. In giving a reference you need to understand, I have high expectations of professionalism and follow thru, I am a general contractor, have built all over Oklahoma and have been a builder of 1000’s of apartments and 100’s of custom homes and they had the expert teams to handle multiple properties in a expeditiously, fast, clean, orderly process to make sure everything had the utmost quality control and implementation, in the shortest amount of time possible. They worked hand in hand with my property manager to make sure that all residents in all properties were not inconvenienced at all and kept the job sites impeccably picked up of all material and debris. Any punch items we found that need to be looked at were easily resolved immediately.On a scale of 1-10, this company, the owners and anll employees are a 15!!! Lance Uhles did an excellent job of helping us for a couple of years patch our roof with a certain brand of shingles that were used by a prior roofer after the April 2021 hailstorm in Norman. After a storm in 2025, my roof was completely damaged and Lance and his roofing crew at Scissor Tail put on much better brand of shingles and the service after they replaced our entire roof in April of 2025 was outstanding. Highly recommend that you talk to Scissor Tail for your roofing needs.

I got ahold of scissor tail when looking for a roof installation on my home I was building myself. Mitchell came out right after reaching out to look at things, got my estimate the next day and once I signed the framing crew was over in only two days (country so no permits), and it was a god send. They were really fast, did good work, and were super friendly. They have a good warranty too and the products they used are of great quality. They were great I had some damage in my roof from wind and a tree and some hail I had them come out and they were great marked where all the damage was and even had a guy there with the insurance inspector fo go over everything Raymon handled everything I did have to worry about a thing and the roof was installed with no hassle to me I would use them again without a second thought
