I want to share the very positive experience that I recently had using the services of Junker Removal and Hauling. I finally convinced my Mom to let me replace the old, upholstery torn, uncomfortable 3-person sofa in the family room of her house.The first step in getting my Mom a new sofa was to get rid of the old sofa. The old sofa was too big, heavy, and in poor condition to be accepted as a donation by a charitable organization. Plus, a charitable organization or trash service company would require that the old sofa be moved from the inside of the house to a curb side location for easier pick-up. The sofa could manually become a recliner which added weight due to the internal metal structure. The old sofa was about seven feet long and weighed close to 200 pounds due to internal metallic reclining structure. My 60-plus year-old body was not going to enable me and whomever I could get to help me to move the old sofa out to the curb without major physical effort.The furniture company that I was buying the new sofa from was going to charge me $250 if the hauling away of the old sofa was going to be done by their company’s delivery service. Subsequently I contacted several hauling companies to obtain quotes.Junker Removal and Hauling provided me with a quick response and lowest quote by far when compared to the other hauling companies. Augie was the person that I communicated with to schedule the hauling. The new sofa was going to be delivered on the upcoming Friday, so I wanted the old sofa hauled away by Thursday. We agreed to Wednesday afternoon timeframe. Augie kept me informed of his status on the day of the hauling.Augie and his assistant, Austin, arrived at my Mom’s home in separate vehicles. Both Augie and Austin were congenial and professional. They appreciated that I had chosen their company for our hauling service. My Mom did not recall how the sofa was delivered. Augie and Austin first tried to carry the sofa out through the front door, but the one-unit sofa would not fit through the front door. While moving the sofa they were both careful not to bump into or damage any home interior items. We decided that a more circuitous route would be needed that involved exiting through a backyard sliding glass door then going to the side of the house to a gate I had opened then onto their pickup truck. Throughout the entire time, neither Augie nor Austin expressed any frustration towards me about the added effort that was needed to move the sofa out to their truck. Their demeanor remained pleasant and professional and they stayed focused on completing the job. After the sofa was loaded on the truck, they both thanked me again for choosing their hauling company. I paid them the agreed amount for their service plus a tip because I appreciated the respect they showed me and my Mom and their attitude of wanting to do a good job. Even with the added tip, the cost of the Junker Removal and Hauling services was less than the quotes that I received from other hauling companies.If I need future hauling services, I will definitely contact Junker Removal and Hauling services. Augie and Austin indicated that this is a relatively young company which is why they conducted their business with an approach of trying to establish Junker Removal and Hauling services as a company that will grow as word gets out about the quality of service that their company provides to their customers. I wish Junker Removal and Hauling services much future success.
