Second time coming here. First time, my son was 1 year old and everything went great.For some reason, at 18 months, he did not want any part in a haircut. He was crying and squirming — it was difficult. But stylist Jessica tried her best to cheer him up, make him more comfortable, or distract him. Thankful that we all got through it! The tvs help a lot, so I will be coming back for his next haircut!

This is one of the better Sharkeys locations we've been to! The staff are very attentive and stylists double check all through the cuts to make sure lengths and cuts look good. The location is very clean and laid out really nicely.

Update: the owner called and made things right! I went to get my hair recut there and Isabella fixed it!! She did an amazing job and so kind!! She went above and beyond!!My kids loved their haircut. My son got a trim up and my daughter had her first real haircut and chose a long bob. It’s a little choppy for my taste and not what we showed her but she loved the experience. I got mine cut too. I showed a pic of a haircut and got something different. The curtain bangs were too short…the back has no definition and literally looks like they just chopped off my hair straight across. I came home to style to see if it would be better but no it was worse… I guess they just aren’t good at adults cuts. I will say this is one of my top worst haircuts for me.

Sharkey’s in Grand Prairie is wonderful for young children. We have 3 boys all different hair types and all the ladies do great with them! No crying and tears, means a lot! Hair cuts are reasonable priced with wash included. The added prizes for the kids is great to reward them as well.Place inside is full of kid friendly decor, which makes the whole process that much more fun!

I highly recommend bringing your kids here my daughters are having there day of beauty and there having lots fun and the hair stylist are very nice and they make kids very comfortable and ask them how there days are etc..
