Terrible Experience - Avoid Big G Roof Company I had an awful experience with Big G Roof Company. The initial quote for my roof was $10k, but once they started tearing it apart, they came back and said the cost would be more than double, leaving me with no choice but to pay or have a giant hole in my roof. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic as others have mentioned in the reviews. For comparison, I had two other roofs done on much older homes, and the final price was only 10-15% higher than the original quotes—completely reasonable and transparent. In stark contrast, Big G's increase was over 130%—completely unacceptable and exploitative. On top of that, they left nails and debris scattered all over my front and backyard, which was especially concerning since I have children who play outside. They clearly had no consideration for the safety of their customers. To make matters worse, they left deep gashes in my stucco, again showing no regard for the condition of my property. When I asked for final pictures for my insurance company, they kept telling me for months that they were "on their way" to take the photos, but no one ever showed up. This dragged on from December 2023 to October 2024 before I finally gave up. When I confronted the manager in October, instead of taking responsibility, he said they would charge me $150 for this "work." It felt like just another attempt to squeeze as much money as possible from the customer at every opportunity. Because of their incompetence, I had to pay an additional $1,500 to my insurance, as they considered my roof "old" without the necessary pictures. Big G Roof Company is unprofessional, unreliable, and has a complete disregard for their customers. Stay far away. Less

It has been 3 months and the roof is leaking. Ms. B likes to send threatening messages being there was a balance and no paper stating exact balance left after payment from YGrene. They wanted me to sign off project for payment from YGrene before roof was completed. They had workers in the rain, rushing to put the shingles on the roof so they can get the check from YGrene. Such an unprofessional company. It’s sad that greed gets the best of people. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. My experience with this company has been a nightmare. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had to make several calls to get the job started.
