We had a great experience with Idaho Bros! They helped transform our basic builder landscaping into a front yard with much more character and beautiful curbing. From the estimate and scheduling to plant and boulder selection, everything was easy and well organized. The crew did an amazing job, and we love the results! Highly recommend.

We hired this company in April to complete a large patio curbing and grass replacement project in our backyard. I was initially very impressed with their presentation and professionalism. However, it seemed that they may have been focused on taking on additional projects at the time, as ours was not managed with the level of attention we had hoped for. Unfortunately, the final outcome fell short of expectations.To begin with, the concrete slab and dye were not mixed correctly. Having completed several remodels in the past, we recognized something was off. The owner initially disagreed, but his concrete lead later confirmed our concerns. It took over a month for the team to return and redo the concrete, which forced us to cancel our planned 25th wedding anniversary celebration, the very reason we had undertaken the backyard remodel. When they did return, the removal process created a significant mess in our landscaping, our neighbor’s yard, and even the street, which took days for us to clean up. This same concern of clean up was stated in another review. Thankfully, the second pour turned out well and we are happy with it and their willingness to eventually fix it.I did not love this company for landscaping work. They were supposed to bring in soil to raise the backyard and plant shade-tolerant grass. Instead, they damaged the root systems of several trees taking out almost their entire shallow root system and installed a standard grass variety that offered no improvement over what we previously had. We are still uncertain whether our trees will recover.As for the curbing, while the product itself is solid the issue arose when the crew turned on our sprinkler system, after we had shut it off, to address sod problems covering our sprinklers. They forgot to turn it back off, soaking the fresh curbing and leaving it with multiple discolorations. I believe the quality of the curbing would have been good without this make.Like another reviewer mentioned, many of these issues might have been avoided if a dedicated project manager had been present on-site

Let's start with the positive because there is something to be said for the quality of work these guys do. The curbing is immaculate and they did a great job making our yard look the way we intended prior to hiring. Everything that was communicated on the front end as far as the look of the yard was followed through on and we are very happy with the look of all the curbing, concrete, landscaping that was done for our property.The negative comes with my rating due to the lack of communication during the project and after the project with some warranty concerns. Admittedly, we did choose to do our landscaping in the spring which comes with some disadvantages with weather and the possibility of some plants not making it through some cold snaps. During the project we did have issues with weather and crew illnesses which all makes sense, but in those times it was not very well communicated when the project could/would be completed and often times we were left without clear communication on when they would return to complete the project. At one point we ended up raking our landscape rock and cleaning the street because our front yard sat for over a week with landscape rock piles and our street was covered in dirt and mud. I can also have some empathy because spring is a busy season with bidding projects and organizing new clients, but on the business side there was a sizable amount of money we committed and our expectation was to be treated with the respect of communication.We have communicated with very little reply on some of our plants not making it and with the agreed upon warranty we expected follow through. When we sent pictures of some of the clearly dead plants we were told to give it a few more weeks to see if they come back. The contract states that we have 30 days after planted to file warranty concerns, which we did but we were told to hold on longer. Recently we sent a picture of one of the trees planted that is clearly dead and we have received no reply. Below is a list of the plants we personally replaced, keeping in mind our total landscaping bill was already pretty healthy.1 Cherry Loral- $2002 Decorative grasses- $402 lavenders- $401 Ornamental Pine tree- $3002 Cone flowers- $35The issue I have is everyone is always very quick to get a project, but the real success of the company comes with how you finish. My review would have been 5 stars based on the work done, but lack of communication and post sales has lost that rating. I believe if they hired a project manager they would have no issues moving forward.

The Bros Jason and Brady with their team did an amazing job renovating our front and backyard. They took care of curbing, added a concrete slab to extend our patio, added boulders and overall it was a great experience. Pricing was fair, scheduling efficient and when we did not know how to proceed they gave their experienced advice. They definitely know what the are doing. Very happy with this, 5 stars to them and their great team!

This company is amazing. It’s the second time I’ve used them. They did exactly what they said. They’re gonna do exactly when they said they’re gonna do it and charged a fair price. I would will refer them to all my friends and neighbors.
