It was not easy to drum up enthusiasm during the pandemic, but Justin showed up every day on the group (often multiple times a day) to encourage, educate, and uplift the Ballard community and help folks connect and stay positive. His dedication to the cause and knowledge about business was inspiring, and his name stuck with me as a community member with genuine integrity and heart. Two years later, my mom passed away and I reached out to Justin to pick his brain about whether or not keeping my mom’s house as a rental would be more beneficial than just selling it. Justin met with me for coffee a couple of times and helped me weigh the pros and cons of both options. Justin never tried to convince me to choose one or the other. He simply and generously shared his knowledge of the housing market and shared insight he had about the rental market. While I ultimately decided to rent it as a furnished home, I kept in touch with Justin via text with random market questions and he was always quick to respond and share what he knew. I really felt like I had a friend on the inside who was genuine, and I truly appreciated that. A year later, I made the decision to sell the house. Obviously, I knew the right realtor for the job. Justin lives in Ballard and knows the area very well, is available 24/7, and knows how to make the selling process run smoothly and efficiently! I was blown away at how easy he made it. The last time I sold a home, in 2007, it was more paperwork than I ever wanted to do again. Justin had everything set up electronically, did all the hard work, and was there to answer any questions I had. He has integrity and genuinely cares about his clients and truly wants what is best for them. I had a tough time figuring out how to paint the home, so he went for a walk with me around the neighborhood for inspiration. At one point there was a snafu with the hardwood floors, and, without hesitation, Justin saved the day by driving out of his way to pick up the specific finish needed to fix the problem. He would go by the house regularly to check on the home to make sure things were staying on schedule and looking good. He also kept me up to date with comparable homes in the area, helped me understand how to competitively price my home (no, your house will not sell for what Zillow and Redfin say and he will explain why), helped find referrals for some of the jobs I needed to do to get the home ready to sell, and kept me in the loop with all the behind the scenes items he was doing. His communication is beyond amazing. I never felt lost in the process at any point, and I knew he was always a phone call or text away. JUSTIN! We really couldn't have asked for a better agent to represent us for our first ever home purchase. From the very first meeting we had, Justin was incredibly transparent and informative about the entire home buying process and even showed/explained to us the paperwork that we should expect to see when we decide on a home and put our offer down. Our interactions were all via phone call and Zoom, but he was so personable, friendly, and professional that we felt an instant connection from Day 1. I will admit that I gave him very vague descriptions of what type of home I wanted, but he took the information and RAN with it. We got connected to his app and received some recommended homes, which we were able to comment on via the app. Justin used our comments to further refine our preferences. By the time we got our mortgage pre-approval, we decided to tour a home virtually. Justin showed us the home over videocall and he even graciously took a separate video which he edited and sent over to us later that night to take another look. He was upfront about any imperfections or issues he saw with the home and offered his honest opinions on the construction, noise level, cosmetics, etc. We fell in love with the home and decided to put an offer down after Justin worked with us to do some competitive research on the price. We then flew down a couple days later, where Justin was ready to meet us and had prepared for a very honest inspector to look over the home while we were there to view. Throughout the closing process, Justin and his team were there to support us wherever they could with any questions we had (and boy, we had lots of questions!). They went above and beyond for us and continued to do so even after we officially closed and got our keys. Justin continued to follow up with us to make sure we got settled in okay and to handle any outstanding items or questions we had. We are more than satisfied with our purchase and experience!
