I travelled from rural rural Queensland for my hair transplant with HTM.I spent a long time researching various hair transplant services more so ones with specified Transgender care in there bio's.I settled on HTM after attending one on one consult with Dr Paul Robinson. Also they had ability to link me with Access My Super.Leading up to surgery HTM where in constant contact with myself making sure I was prepared for the big day.On day of surgery I dont recall much as I slept most of the day, I was made to feel comfortable and checked on that I was travelling ok through out the day. Even though I was informed of possible pain and swelling post surgery I've had neither, little black eye for few days and minor tightness in donor area - FUT.Post surgery I have also had continued support with check in's on how I am going also attended a LED session before I left Melbourne.I have attached some photos, which I will continue to add too as the hair transplant progresses.Current photos are pre / day of surgery.

I had my procedure done with Dr Spano after doing a lot of research on the best hair transplant clinics in Melbourne, and he recommended a two-stage procedure with a 12–14 month gap which worked perfectly for me. Now is the best time to review as the final results have fully come through and they are honestly better than expected, with a very natural-looking front hairline and overall excellent outcome. During the second procedure there were two patients and another doctor initially started, but because my case required more precise technique for extracting hair from the donor area, Dr Spano stepped in and completed it himself, which gave me a lot of confidence. Highly recommended, great results and definitely makes you feel more confident.

So i am pretty much at my one year mark since i had an FUT procedure done at this clinic. since these reviews were part of the reason i chose this clinic i decided to add my own to it.I spent a long time thinking about getting a transplant done since i hated my hair line, I've had a high hairline since i can remember. but i was just trying to just be grateful i hadn't gone bald (I'm transgender and transitioned in my mid 20s). after a while i decided my quality of life would be better if i had a feminine hairline, I'd be slightly less depressed, i wouldn't be staring at the ground whenever there was a gust of wind and over all I'd feel prettier.so long story short, i had an FUT procedure at this clinic, i came from QLD so made a little holiday of it. the procedure went pretty smoothly and other than the needles at the start i didn't really feel any pain. i was really only bound to the hotel room for probably a week before i felt comfortable enough to venture outside and enjoy the city.My hairline has really grown in now and it has given me so much confidence. like literally...sooo much.I recently had my 1 year checkup with dr Robinson via zoom so he could check my growth, I'll be booking in for a 2nd smaller procedure which was recommended during my initial consultation to improve density and ill be tweaking the hairline design slightly.Honestly the care and attention this clinic provides is amazing, the drs and the ladies are all very nice and friendly and I've felt like they all genuinely care about not only taking care of me on the day of the procedure but also the result I've gotten a year later and making sure i am happy with it.Bottom line, if your looking for a HT clinic..give this place a go.

My hairline restoration journey began with my own online research which I distilled from many people's experiences. But online research is very different to real world information, so I booked a consultation.Parking onsite was easy, and the entry was bright, clean and inviting. Margaret and Lisa were so friendly and welcoming. I was met by Dr Robinson (tall Paul) and we had an open discussion about what to expect. A few days later I booked my procedure for 6 weeks out. I had my choice of an earlier date however the later date suited me better. As the day approached I took careful note of the preparatory notes given to me.On surgery day the entire clinic was dedicated only to my procedure. I was greeted by Themi who put me at ease. The first part of the surgery was carried out by both Drs Paul themselves, and their very experienced team. Lunch was a beautiful hot cooked meal followed by the second part of the procedure, implantation. The surgery itself was relatively painless. I was constantly asked how I was doing, and they were very responsive if I felt any discomfort. In retrospect the hardest part was laying still for so long.At the end of the day Dr Paul made sure I had all the information I needed to care for my new grafts, and that I got home safely. Looking back it was a very long day but I'd psyched myself up for that as I was fully informed about what to expect. I was reassured to know that they were more interested in doing a great job, than rushing to get home by a certain time.Cut to two weeks later and everything has healed up nicely and my transplanted hair has taken root. I can already see how my eventual hairline will look and it's very exciting to see it take shape!In summary they're a super professional operation from their email communication, all the way down to the surgery itself and beyond. They're based in Australia so you know the hygiene standards are first rate. They're a very experienced team led by two world-class doctors. I deliberated with a hair transplant for the last 10 years. Decided to keep it local as I was impressed with Paul, his team and his set up. I am one week since the transplant and am so amazed with the immediate change to my hairline. It helps that I still have hair as it blends in. Hard to even notice the transplant from the front. What I didn't expect was from day one my self esteem shot through the roof. For 20 years I have witnessed my hair depleting. I tried every tonic under the sun.
