Andrew has that experience.Our latest project was a corporate website for Funeral Marketing Directors, a national marketing organization representing Homesteaders Life, a highly respected mutual life insurance company with approximately $6 billion in assets. The website needed to appeal to funeral home owners, industry professionals, and career-minded individuals interested in becoming agents and General Agents. It also had to communicate professionalism, integrity, and credibility while highlighting our specialization in multicultural Latino pre-need funeral marketing.What impressed me from the very beginning was Andrew's ability to frame the website correctly. He immediately understood what mattered most, organized the content logically, selected the right visual direction, and built a framework that required remarkably few revisions. That's something only experience can do. While many developers spend weeks making change after change, Andrew got it right from the start. Once the framework was in place, I simply stepped in to write the specialized content for our industry, and everything came together naturally.We were working under a very tight deadline, and Andrew was fully committed to the project. There were several evenings when he worked with me until nearly midnight, and throughout the seven-day process he remained responsive, collaborative, and focused on delivering a first-class result.We met our deadline, and the corporate executives at Homesteaders Life have already begun reviewing the website. I approached Andy and his “Dragon” literally damaged from my first experience with a “professional” so I’ll start by saying, “as a human being, Andy, is what and how you expect a professional to behave. Despite my conditioning, he was masterful at redirecting the energy from that experience into something greater. He’s a true diplomat and someone who understands the middle.Something greater, I referenced a previous “professional”. As we should all be aware, in this day and age all that market themselves as such are NOT. The body of work produced by that individual not only enforced the idea that conceptually he didn’t understand me or my industry but perhaps maybe not even his own. My opionion, the appearance was of a person who may have had a “passion” but no early guidance and direction.Andy and the Dragon, reminds me of the movie, Pete’s Dragon, and comes with nostalgic reverence, something I wouldn’t give if it wasn’t earned. My washer was overflowing and I researched why. I checked out a few things I learned in my research, but it did not solve my issue. I called 1st Choice Appliance Repair (on Sunday), and I received a text from Mike saying he would call me tomorrow (Monday) to look at my washer. Mike called Monday and came to my house about 11:30. It took him about 5 minutes to correct the issue with my washer. Mike was a very nice guy. We talked for about 30 minutes after he was done. I will definitely call him again if I need an appliance repaired. And I will definitely recommend 1st Choice Appliance Repair.
