I took this tour with some friends and was very surprised at how interesting it was, and even though I had been to a few of the restaurants, the things that we tried were things I had never tried there before and was very happy with it. We Went on the Pubs N Grubs tour with our amazing guide Rachel, This is one of the highlights of our Galverston trip . Great food and lots of different drinks, learned a lot of the history and got to experience many different establishments. Definitely got what we paid for! Rachel’s knowledge, sense of humour, and personality made this a great night!

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary in Galveston and did the Taste of the Strand Food Tour. Our tour guide, Rachel, was energetic, super sweet, and very informative! Every dish we had was delicious and we learned so much about Galveston! We had so much fun and are already planning our next tour with Rachel!

Had a really great time, stuffed beyond belief. They do allow singles to sign up. You just have to call them. Also learned a kit of history that I didn't know. Would recommend, but go hungry!

What an experience!

My husband and I did the Tapas on the Strand Food & Drink Tour, and it was the highlight of our trip to Galveston! Our tour guide, Special Kay, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of Galveston and enjoyed plenty of different food and cocktails throughout the night. We also heard about the best places to go in town, which we would not have visited otherwise. I highly recommend their tours! Thanks for a great time, Special Kay!

The taste of the Strand food tour was excellent! The menu changes with the seasons but we stopped at little Mom and Pop joints, a very nice seafood restaurant on the water, a taco restaurant and a great German restaurant. Our guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. Highly recommend this tour.

This was my husband and I's favorite thing we did while visiting Galveston!! Our guide was so sweet and fun. She not only took us to the most amazing restaurants, she also shared a lot of history about Galveston while we walked. This food and drink tour is a great way to try the best local restaurants and food. We were visiting Galveston for our anniversary and our guide even surprised us with flowers and a dessert to celebrate! We highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Galveston!

Excellent food and drink tour! Karen and Vernon were awesome, we learned quite a bit about the history of Galveston. The restaurants were filled with locals, not touristy. The food choices were great, very filling! The drinks complemented the food well. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something different!

The food tour was the highlight of our trip. We had amazing drinks, food, and overall an amazing time. The staff were friendly and easy going. I would recommend this to anyone. If you are planing a big vacation, or a weekend getaway this is one of the must try experiences.

We needed a new thing to do for Date Night (the 3rd week of June 2020) and stumbled upon Taste of the Strand. Karen and her partner were so friendly, informative and treated us like family. What an awesome tour, I’ve lived in the area my whole life and learned more about Galveston in two hours that I have in 40 years, the food is super delicious you’ll definitely leave well informed with the history of Galveston and with a full tummy

Had a blast for Mardi Gras

This tour is AWESOME! My wife and I had a blast. Karen was very knowledgeable about the history of Galveston and the local food scene. I had never done a food tour but I would highly recommend going on this one. My wife and I will definitely be joining Karen again!

We had an amazing time on our tour! Karen was wonderful and even met us in the rain! She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure we had an outstanding time. I am so glad I opted in to have her take pictures for us. It made it easy for us to enjoy and she made sure to capture everything. She sent us all the photos very quickly and even made a slideshow with them for us! And the FOOD! Oh my gosh the FOOD! There was so much that my husband and I finally had to call it quits before it was done because we just couldn't eat any more! This was SO WORTH IT and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
