Steve is awesome! His family is great. You will feel welcomed and be treated like a friend from the first moment you introduce yourself. I’ve gotten three tattoos now from WIT and have one more planned. Steve will send you home not only with after care instructions but also some product. I’ve gone to big shops in the past that don’t do that! When it was time for my BF to get his first tattoo I took him to Steve. He is beyond patient, explains what he’s doing so there’s no surprises, and plays great music throughout the session and not an annoying volume that you have to scream over. Very comfortable experience considering you’re being poked a million times a minute

Just got my second piece done here yesterday. I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the Chicago area. Steve is extremely knowledgeable, detailed, and a great guy to know. Would not hesitate recommending him to anyone else.

I went to Steve with a tattoo my sister drew up for me. It was my first large tattoo and I was SO NERVOUS. He was SO sweet and did everything he could to make me comfortable. He ended up having to free hand some of the tattoo because the drawing wasn’t large enough to cover the area I wanted. I’m IN LOVE with my tattoo and smile every time I look in the mirror! Thank you Steve! Can’t wait to get my next one!
