We could not be happier with the quality of Bourke’s work and customer service. They’ve painted our house twice, most recently in 2022, when they also replaced the shutters. Marcos led us through the color selection process with skill and patience, and we are truly thrilled with the results. They handled replacement of rotted boards, rebuilt the base of our shed, and repaired window trim with speed and flexibility. The entire team was wonderful to work with, and the yard was spotless when they were done. I would never consider going with anyone else. You shouldn’t either! Bourke will not disappoint!

I recently hired Marcos, Owner of Bourke Contracting, Inc., To paint a rental apartment consisting of two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and both front and back hallways from start to finish. The experience succeeded my expectations!The quality of the work was great. Marco, and his crew took the time to properly prepare every surface before painting. The walls were carefully prepped the woodwork and windowsills were thoroughly sanded, and areas of damaged plaster, in both the front and back halls, that needed serious attention were repaired beautifully. The attention to detail truly showed throughout the entire project.Although Marcos was originally hired strictly for painting, he went far beyond the scope of the job. He kindly replaced and installed broken blinds, purchased and installed a new vent over the kitchen stove, and even purchased and installed a beautiful 5 light vanity fixture (with the bulbs) in the bathroom. There was also a small area of hardwood flooring that needed attention and he handled that as well without hesitation. What was equally important was his professionalism, and reliability. Marco started the project exactly when promised and completed everything on schedule. In fact the apartment was fully finished, cleaned, with paint dried, and completely ready for the new Tenant nine days before the move-in date, which was greatly appreciated. When the work was completed, his crew cleaned thoroughly removing all dust, and debris, and left the apartment looking absolutely wonderful.I would highly recommend Marcos of Bourke contracting Inc. for any type of contracting work, not only does he do exceptional work, but he is also one of the most patient, understanding, dependable, and loyal people you could hope to work with. Marcos and Bourke are an amazing contractor company. Having Marcos and team was a life saver during a very stressful time. He has such a high level of professionalism—he is always on time and usually 5 minutes early for any appointment. He turns around quotations on any work discussed in a prompt manner. For many items he and his team went above and beyond - for example, placing a washer over a drainage tray after it had been moved. A very high level of care in the work that was done. He never recommended work that might be unnecessary. I can’t recommend Marcos and team highly enough.

We simply cannot recommend Marcos Meira and his team at Bourke contracting enough. They are the best contractors we have worked with. We were completely overwhelmed with turning our apartment around and moving into a new home over a short period of time. And the only reason we managed to accomplish everything in a timely manner with minimal stress was because of Marcos and his team whose efficiency, reliability and professionalism really made the whole process so much better. They also helped us handle so many mini unexpected repairs along the way in addition to the big needs with promptness. Marcos is highly communicative, clear in his recommendations, highly reliable and has a very well trained team with expertise. Above all, his recommendations and quotes are very reasonable and never more than what one would need to do. We have also received excellent recommendations for other services through him including plumbing and carpentry. Even my dad, who is a retired building and facilities engineer told me that we have to hold on to Marcos and his team forever as such good contractors are hard to come by.
