I'm thousands of pounds deep and my dog is worse.I have never missed payment for service. I had issues such as booking an hours lesson and the training venue being booked for only 30 minutes! I just wanted someone to help with training due to a decline in my health.Some days I'd be told there was no training venue available on the DAY OF the session/offered a completely inappropriate venue.I had difficulty with accommodations considering she was an assistance dog trainer. Why take on a client KNOWING they were autistic (which effects communication) & disabled to later discriminate based on "communication' difficulties. When the trainer was the one not sending things as promised and not responding in a timely manner. We were promised a training plan "that week" and it wasn't sent for 3 weeks and was half a page of vague info that would have taken 15 minutes at most. They were working above their competency level.Constant sessions putting my dog over threshold. I tried to explain I was not comfortable with my dog put in situations where she would whine/lunge but wasn't listened to. Due to my conditions I find it really challenging to advocate for myself.£240+ a month for damage to our training progress from before we saw this trainer.I was disappointed with the trainer not booking an appropriate venue. Constant last minutes changes. I would often have to request the venue location on the day of training. Sometimes multiple times. We had sessions in busy inappropriate environments to train brand new and complex behaviours dog dealing with typical excitement.The trainer also listed payment as an issue. However. I ALWAYS PAID and would always pay on the day of the session AT THE LATEST. I paid via bank transfer and sometimes there is a delay beyond my control for the transfer. I explained about my disabilities but no accommodations were offered. I would have been more than happy to offer to do a direct debit.The sessions were supposed to be £60 for 45 to 60 minutes. But often the sessions were cut short. The venues were often only booked for 30 minutes. For 1 hour sessions.I feel taken advantage of as obviously this is not okay.For a 1 hour session a venue should have been booked for an hour minimum!The first time at the field we started late, 10 minutes we were parked at the end of the drive waiting to park and get in as the trainer apparently had conflicts with the prior user. These problems should have been dealt with by the trainer, it is unfair for a client to foot the bill for this.If you don't feel confident working with ND individuals then please don't work with them to later criticise them due to their disability. The trainer had vast info to understand my conditions as she was meant to be helping with training for assistance dog tasks.I've spent thousands on this training.And all it's done is make my dog WORSE. I can't express how hurt I am and how much my trust has been destroyed.I have never given a business a bad review but I want other ND people to avoid this same experience.I found out the trainer tried to lie about my experience when I shared it publicly. A customer is well within their rights to express dissatisfaction with a service and share a cautionary tale. And if a business owner is unhappy with this there are channels they can pursue if they believe they're in the right.I will be approaching some orgs as autistic persons being criticised for communication is harmful as communication difficulties are part of the condition and can't be helped.I will be contacting trading standards as things such as being charged a fee for an hour training whilst the trainer books venues for only 30 minutes is taking advantage and is extremely poor.Just be cautious using this service as if you share your negative experiences with this business you will face endless denial, twisting of the facts and an army of their friends blindly believing their story and posting counter reviews so your experience is covered up. Couldn’t recommend the faithful dog trainer more. Kate is a wonderful human and her love of dogs is evident in everything she does. She has helped us from the week our lab puppy came home and I would really recommend her puppy package. We’ve also been to classes which helped our dog to learn with plenty of distractions whilst being safe in her own space. We’ve seen so much progress with our clever puppy who loves to learn. She’s the first dog I’ve ever had who I can walk off the lead and it’s all thanks to Kate who is very knowledgeable and super patient with us. Thank you 😊 Less

We had a block of 5 sessions with Kate recently and can’t recommend enough. Our 11 month old puppy Benji was very reactive to other dogs and we saw massive improvements in just 5 sessions. We now also have all the tools we need to carry on his training going forward. Less
