Update: we had 6 conversations with Jo over 2 months and not much changed.Working with Jo as a project manager for our remodel was a horrible experience. He was starting this company while working as the project manager for another and clearly our project was not a priority for him. His communication was terrible, his quality control was terrible, attention to detail was terrible, schedule management was terrible, he never advocated for us as the client and would make excuses for the subs, care of our house was terrible (lights and the oven drawer were used as buckets, our fridge was broken, minimal protection was put in place and when it was it didn’t help, there is paint on our carpet and the flooring in the dining room was damaged). Two and half months after he left to go on vacation and never return we are still dealing with the fallout. When he left considering our house days away from being done we came home to an unusable shower (water was coming from every point it could), vinyl flooring was ripped, the fridge didn’t work, lights were flickering, the door bell no longer chimed, it was never fully cleaned, paint touch ups were needed everywhere, cabinets were stretched and bowing, the front door was damaged and there were things we called out to him multiple time still undone. Our house was treated as if it didn’t matter because he had something better (this company) that he was moving on to. It mattered to us as we had saved and dreamed about this, making many sacrifices for 10 years to make this happen and we came back to a disaster. Some of the photos are of the “done” house.
