I first met Beau when I was experiencing significant pain while running and had no idea that I was dealing with bilateral femoral neck bone stress injuries. I’d already seen other physios and doctors, but Beau was the first person to recognise that something more serious might be going on and suggested I get a scan. I’m incredibly grateful he did.Beau is highly skilled, proactive, and genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for his clients. Looking back, I believe my recovery could have been much more difficult, and potentially much worse, if I hadn’t met him when I did. What really sets Beau apart is that he looks at the whole person, not just the injury. He took the time to understand my goals, training, recovery, and overall wellbeing, and even connected me with other allied health professionals when needed. I always felt listened to and supported, and his approach was truly person centred.Starting with walk-run intervals, Beau guided me through a gradual return to running while focusing on strength, recovery, and staying pain free. Thanks to his support and expertise, I’m now back running 10 km comfortably and confidently.I’ve seen other physios before, but Beau is different. If you’re a runner dealing with aches, pains, or an injury that just isn’t improving, I can’t recommend him highly enough. Hopefully, with Beau’s continued guidance, I’ll be lining up for a marathon next year. 😊
