It is rare for me to leave a review on another company, but I had the opportunity to work directly with Titan Outdoor Solutions on a joint project. Totally impressed with the willingness to coordinate and go over every detail to ensure the customer was happy with the end results. Melanie's willingness to adapt the changes needed to incorporate the screens into the structure was well appreciated by both our customer and me. I won't say this about many companies, but it was a pleasure to work with you, Titan.

We contracted with Titan Outdoor in October for the purchase and installation of a pergola. One of the main reasons we chose them was their assurance that they would coordinate with our pool contractor on proper footer placement so the project could be completed smoothly.After signing the contract and paying the deposit, communication stopped. Both I and our pool project manager made multiple attempts in October and November to connect with Titan and requested footer placement and electrical conduit details before construction progressed. We did not receive the necessary information.As a result, the pool contractor proceeded without clear direction, and the pergola was later installed. The pool project then failed inspection due to a pergola permit not being pulled, causing a delay of three months while permitting was addressed. The pergola then also failed inspection because the footers could not be inspected, as they had been installed and covered without proper coordination.The pergola permit was not pulled until after installation was complete, and it was ultimately pulled by a third-party contractor rather than being handled directly by Titan Outdoor. The project has now been at a standstill since December, and we have been told pavers must be removed to expose the footers just to complete inspection.Throughout this process, Titan Outdoor has provided minimal communication and has not taken responsibility for coordinating the installation that was included in their contract. When contact has been made, responsibility has been shifted rather than resolved.We still have an outstanding balance, which we are not paying until the project passes inspection and is properly completed.I would not recommend Titan Outdoor for any project involving permitting or coordination with other contractors.Edit- Titan came out pulled up the pavers to expose the footers to pass inspection as well as install bolts that were missing. When the job was finished, I noticed some pavers were broken and loose. For the deck being newly installed, I am still disappointed. A contractor shouldn’t come to the house and make things worse. They painted areas that were scratched as well. I would have preferred for the piece to be in new condition with spending as much as we did. I hope it holds up over time. I will be having a paver crew come out and repair the pavers myself.

First time using Titan and they definitely earned our trust. Had them out at Black Hammock Farms to put in shutters and motorized screens. Everything came out great. We ran into a snag with the manufacturer during ordering but Titan handled it — like actually handled it, drove out there themselves and made it right. We weren't expecting that at all. Really impressed by how much they cared about getting it done right. Great communication, great crew, great result. Will be recommending them to anyone who asks.

Pressured to pay contractors before the job was complete. Repetitively told the paver is still out of country to finish the job when told he would be back in 45 days (FEB 01) which has passed. Multiple gaps between travertine and rocking travertine. The project manager, cannot get the rain sensor to work properly after multiple attempts at relocation and re-wiring causing the lanai to be soaked during the rain. They will pressure you to pay, and then be reluctant to help, after promising to make things right. This obvious lack of urgency to address our needs has stalled our future backyard projects. We fear our issues will never get resolved. "Warranty Issues" no, these are lack of completion issues. The job was not complete when full payment was made "to get the guys money for Christmas."

These people are lying. They pressured my husband to pay them for the work when it wasn’t complete prior to us leaving town before Christmas. They swore the work would get done and it still isn’t done on March 9th. The rain sensor they’ve moved 2-3x and rewired once still doesn’t work and they talked us out of putting up two lights they originally had in the design. We don’t have a refund for either of these things. Plus the floor job they did is ugly. There’s so many irregular gaps in between tiles it stands out terribly and one line of skinny tile down the side of the floor that was never in the plans. These people aren’t trying to make it right. They have stopped talking to us. They contracted the floors out to guys that don’t speak English. Obviously they just want to pocket as much money as possible without assuring the work is quality. When the guys were working at my house I could barely communicate with one of them and not at all with the other guy.

I signed a contract on 5/1, was advised installed within 2 months. Titan has no communication skills. I was given a date for footers to be installed beginning of June. The date was changed 4 different times. The only way I knew the date was changed because No one showed up. I had to call them. Footers installed, June 26. July 8th a crew comes to install our Renaissance awning. They worked for four days. All of the debris from the job was blown into my flower garden, leaving fine pieces of mental, which could seriously damage my dogs feet. Three days after the work is done, we get a storm. The rain runs between our house and where the awning is attached. Come to find out it was never sealed. Oh and did I say, they left the caulking gun on the roof of our house. A side piece had an open gap. The pavers were not resealed and the support beams had scratches. On July 16th , Anthony and his crew came out and corrected all of the issues. (I felt like Anthony crew were they only ones who knew what they were doing). At that point we were waiting for one side/end piece to be installed. On July 17th the side piece was installed and the project finished.Don't get me wrong, I love the finished product and will enjoy the shade and time spent outdoors.I guess my expectations of customer service, communication and quality would be better than what I experienced.
