Update- 4/2026: Adam is still our go-to guy! He replaced our unit last year and just had our Spring service to make sure it is running well for summer.2019:Adam scheduled an appointment and was right on time. They quickly confirmed what a prior HVAC company had stated to be the issue- leaking coils. The biggest difference was they were on the phone immediately and tracked down where our coils were purchased, confirmed they were under warranty, and asked them to hold the replacements. They scheduled the repair work and again were right on time. They completed the work, made sure everything was functioning properly, and cleaned up. They are reliable and offer reasonable prices. I have already recommended Ellis Heating and Air to my friends and family and have made sure to save their contact for the next time we need an HVAC company.

I would highly recommend Ellis Heating and Air to anyone who needs HVAC support. I’ve used a few of the larger Heating and Air companies in the past and wanted to try a smaller business. I found Adam’s information on a local neighborhood Facebook page and decided to give him a call, I’m really glad we did.Our heater was failing during a very cold spell, I called Adam and he came that day to check it out. He spent about an hour assessing the situation and was able to bandaid the issue and get it to work. Our unit was 16 years old and at the end of its useful life. He gave us really good advice, stating he could fix it but it will cost a couple thousand dollars but something else could easily fail in the near future due to the age, costing more money. His recommendation was to replace it. I truly felt he wasn’t trying to upsell us, he was really trying to do what was best for us. He didn’t pressure us at all nor did he charge us for his two visits to get our existing unit to work and get us through the Thanksgiving Holiday until we could get it replaced.Once we decided to replace the unit he guided us through some great financing options with low interest rates. The day of replacement his team was prompt, very professional and did an excellent job, going above and beyond. He handled all the paperwork, permit fees, inspections, etc. He made it as painless as possible for us. Lastly, he didn’t try to sell us a maintenance plan that a lot of the larger companies try to do. I will absolutely be using Ellis Heating and Air in the future and would recommend them to all our friends and family. 10/10, 5 ⭐️

This review has been a long time coming, but Ellis HVAC deserves every star.Several years ago, our 20+ year-old HVAC system died. I got replacement quotes from five different companies. Most were pushy, sales-focused, or provided outrageous bids. Ellis was the last company we called, and the difference was immediate.Hector came out and was the opposite of pushy. He gave us the most reasonable quote for a full replacement and, unlike others, offered several repair options. He was straightforward and honest about the pros and cons of repairing vs. replacing such an old unit, giving me all the information needed to make a confident decision.We chose replacement. The installation was scheduled quickly, completed on time, and done beautifully. Adam (the owner) checked in before, during, and after the job, truly textbook good service.Fast forward three years to today: we recently started having issues with the heat. I called Adam, and he scheduled a service visit for the next day.Adam and his technician arrived, checked the unit on the roof, and then came inside. It turned out the issue was an allergen filter I had recently installed. These specialized filters can make older systems "touchy" as they start to load up with dust. They replaced the filter for me, and the system immediately began working perfectly.I felt a little silly for calling them out for something so simple, but Adam didn't make me feel like a total moron. When I asked what I owed for the service call, he insisted there was no charge.Seriously, I wish more businesses operated with this level of honesty, professionalism, and commitment to long-term customer service.
