🛑 BEFORE YOU BUY 🛑This is a sketchy operation, to say the least, and with RSA going completely silent in communication while I am sorting out a collections issue with one of their financiers, who claims that they have gone cold on them as well, I'm going to break this down so that you know what you're getting into.Up front cost and bootcamp:The price has several tiers, from 2k roughly to 6-7k to 12k. All of them are essentially the same. You will be added to their skool platform and told to get through a boot camp and do "role plays." The boot camp is a couple of documents thrown together about the sales process. This is just memorization - almost no course can prepare you for sales, and this won't do much. The roleplays are a joke, as you don't get much push back and won't have a similar experience with real prospects, unless they're warm (you will not have warm leads for a long time, unless lucky).SUMMARY: THIS POSITION WILL NOT MAKE YOU "READY" FOR SALES - it will give you an overinflated ego to be crushed as soon as you manage to get an opportunity.Getting placed:The advertisement of 10k+ monthly is also highly misleading, with rare exceptions. You are 98% likely not to get one. In a field like sales, where there is nothing you can put your hand on, overestimating is the name of the game. RSA seems to have a "network" of sketchy sales recruiters - there are websites online and job postings on Indeed that are essentially the same. RSA MAKES THEIR CUT OFF OF YOUR INITIAL INVESTMENT - they aren't incentivized by what comes after. Do with that what you will. Most of their opportunities are startups, small companies, etc. They claim to vet companies, but their second offer I was given was a DM cold messaging offer on FB groups for a "marketer" who wasn't even running paid ads. At that point, I may as well just start my own business. What I am saying to you is - unless they put you in their BOGE group, which seems to be a unicorn, you're not going to be making big money period - probably zero money for many months to years.SUMMARY: THE POSITIONS THEY PUT YOU IN ARE ENTRY LEVEL SALES - you aren't getting a special ticket into sales with this. You are getting an entry-level job for a high price. Also, don't expect to recoup your training cost quickly as they will say.UPSALE:They are going to try to sell you on a higher package or a special tier for "extra coaching." This ended up costing thousands, and was a once weekly 30-45 minute call where they essentially went over the material in the beginning of the boot camp and did roleplays. It was often canceled. They guy who upsold me was not working with them a month or so after the sale. Of all aspects of the package, this is probably the lowest value - you are paying to see Jacob on a screen and to be told to work harder. They told me I could cancel, turned out I couldn't, and now I have a collection agency after me for thousands. RSA made a deal with me initially, then went back and forth with the financing agency, lied about what they said, retracted their role in solving it, and then went silent.SUMMARY: YOU ARE A NUMBER ON A SPREADSHEET. Don't become enamored with their fine talking points and attitude - you're dealing with salespeople who want your initial investment, nothing more.IN CLOSING:The way this industry works is that there is a company, they have 2 or several closers (quite skilled), and they have 2 groups of setters - 1) one or several skilled setters who get all the warm leads from advertisements, and 2) a team of newer cold setters who try to get all the leads that fell through the cracks and call cold leads. This is grunt work on the front lines - the warm setters usually get all the money, the cold ones get little and do the majority of the work. As a cold setter, you will spend months to years on this with little to no pay, hoping the warm setters get moved up or replaced and that you are next in line for the position. If you buy, prepare yourself for months to years of grueling work with zero job security before you make a dime.
