I had the best experience with this Barber Shop, I was in the city of Olathe for business and was only staying for 3 days and I really needed a haircut, but I didn't want to go to a usual chain so I looked up barber shops and this place had solid reviews from Google.I saw on their website that they we're mostly appointment based, and I thought I had seen a thing that said walk-ins welcome, so I took a chance since my hotel was only a few minutes away and went in there, I initially asked if they accepted walk-ins and one of the guys told me that they unfortunately only take appointments, I was handed a business card to set up an appointment which I was happy to do so because I knew it was kind of a 50/50 opportunity.As I was about to leave another gentleman came out from the back and said he had a cancellation on an appointment and he could cut my hair right then and there. This was very courteous and I was happy to get my haircut right then and there, the gentleman who cut my hair who was named Dave, was very friendly and cut my hair exactly the way I asked for.The pricing was very reasonable and because I was treated with such courtesy and kindness I gave Dave a nice tip for the courtesy and the kindness that I received upon coming to this location.I am unfortunately not from around here as I'm just up here on business but if I ever find myself in Olathe Kansas again I will most definitely book an appointment from this place in the future

I have been going here since its opening. Every cut is an excellent cut! I only trust my hair (what is left) with this crew. The consistency and quality have kept me coming back for decades. Don't waste time in a salon, be a man and go to an authentic Barber Shop. This is the only place I go for a haircut.

This is my husband's go-to Barber, and I love them too. He always comes home looking and feeling like a million bucks. I sometimes cut his hair to save money, and it is difficult to say the least. It is so thick that I swear it grows while I cut it, but its no problem for the barbers at the Great American Barber Shop. It doesn't matter who is cutting his hair there, he always enjoys himself and is pleased with the result. When I come in, I am always greeted as well, which is nice. If I had sons I would feel very comfortable taking my boys here.

Best barber shop in town hands down. Been coming here for years. Atmosphere is exactly how an old school shop should be. All the barbers are great people. Can't ask for a better barber shop. All I ask is that they bring back the terrorist cards ;-)

I'm really happy with my father’s Haircut & Beard Trim - Guy did an excellent job paying close attention to detail to make sure I looked my best. He made sure all my edges were lined up just right and even gave my beard a precision trim to fit my style.
