I was referred to Jared Standley from RRCA by my neighbors Dave and Molly who had used them to replace their roof after Hurricane Ian. They spoke highly of him so I gave him a call and that was the best call I have made concerning my house. My roof had to be replaced and a previous contractor had started the replacement two months earlier. His name is Micheal Ranucci of Traditions built and had done a really poor job and had left it after just doing the dry in. I was in despair, the house was not protected from the elements, the contractor was not finishing the job and despite me hiring legal help. I live out of state most of the year so don’t know local roofing companies and having had one terrible experience and I was extremely anxious about hiring another company. Jared not only listened to me he empathized with me and went the extra mile to help me. Jared pulled out all the stops . He visited my house on a Sunday, his day off to save time. He made inquiries on how he could work with what had been left in regards to the roof, (if possible to save me costs) and got a crew together to fit me in ahead of the normal schedule to protect my house from further exposure. Over the next weekend 6 people arrived and the roof was completed (the guys worked on their days off and were great) . What a committed team. This is a family run company who actually cares. They were also reasonable in price. They tidied up the previous contractor’s mess ( shingles and nails left throughout the yard ) at no charge You cannot beat the attention to detail, and personal touch that Jared gave me. I try calling them since this Monday, Feb. 26, 24 because the haven’t start fixing my roof and not being able to talk to any one. This company has the most horrible customer service. Per, our contract they were supposed to start the roof replacement by today Feb. 29, 24. I still can’t get a hold of anybody. Obviously, they have breached our contract. At, this point Im afraid that I’ve being a fraud victim. I will be contacting the Department of Business and Regulations to make sure they are aware of this situation. Be careful with this company. 1. I contracted with RRCA to replace my roof and ordered multi-colored roof tiles from RRCA . RRCA delivered mono-colored tiles, apparently expecting that I would accept them. I didn’t, and it took RRCA months to deliver multicolored tiles, albeit not the colors I’d ordered. 2. RRCA stated it would remove and replace my pool’s roof-mounted solar panels as part of the project, then left my solar panels in my yard for months after replacing the roof. 3. Without my permission, approval, or even notification, RRCA, for reasons it has never explained, surreptitiously replaced my solar panels with a cheaper, inferior product made and installed by another manufacturer and company. I didn’t become aware of this underhanded switcheroo until the panels began to leak and representatives of the original installer inspected the panels. 4. Not only was I ultimately obligated to pay $200 to the installers of the new, inferior solar panels to come out and repair the leaks, but first I had to pay the installers of my original solar panels $200 to come out, inspect, and inform me that RRCA had surreptitiously replaced my solar panels. 5. RRCA even refuses to reimburse me for the $200 I had to pay to the original installers to learn that RRCA had surreptitiously replaced my solar panels (with an inferior product). 6. RRCA is a disreputable company and shouldn’t be trusted. ADDENDUM: Notwithstanding RRCA’s reply below, RRCA now knows exactly who I am and my contact information—yet it refuses to even respond to my perfectly legitimate request to provide me with a copy of its receipt for the solar panels it purchased and installed without my notification or consent—much less to furnish any manner of explanation or compensation. It’s now time for me to bring RRCA’s misconduct to the attention of the Better Business Bureau and state of Florida’s contractor watchdog agency. Less

The only reason this company does not get a one-star rating is because of the outstanding customer service. RRCA sent out Michael Herrera, a project manager. He did a thorough assessment and arranged for new tarping to be put on and did extensive documentation for insurance claims. He gave us a quote and proceeded to work with our insurance company. As it turned out our insurance company was denying our claim. We needed to have our roof repaired regardless of the current position of our insurance company and decided to use the services of RRCA. Mr. Herrera provided us with a quote that was quite reasonable considering the post-Ian aftermath. He also suggested a company called GoodLeap that provides 12 months of financing for roofing without any interest. We signed a contract with our RRCA and then the fun began. To Mr. Herrera's credit, he was always responsive, would always return calls if not able to pick up, and always without question provided resolution to the mistakes his crew had made. And, many problems needed to be resolved. The original crew removed the shingles and put the underlay on the roof. -They did a terrible job putting the underlay down. Some of it was flapping in the wind. This allowed a small leak into the house. a return visit was required to put it down correctly. -They put a drip edge over the rotted fascia. They attempted to replace the fascia that they had covered up with scraps of wood and a hand saw. That did not work out well. I told Mr. Herrera that I did not want that crew coming back to put the shingles on. -when putting up the scraps of wood they cut the phone line to the house. -Just by chance, I found that they had not replaced the rotted sheathing on the flat roof. All of the covering on the flat roof had to be removed, new sheathing put down, and then recovered. -they somehow damaged one of the ceiling joists in the lanai area. -The roof's final inspection failed two times. They had not folded the leaded boot into the drain vents. They had merely just cut the boot off which would have left a big gap for water to come into the house. We finally passed inspection. Mr. Herrera had a real Carpenter/fixer come out and properly replace the fascia. He also fixed the damage to the joist in the lanai ceiling and replaced a couple of pieces of aluminum on the pool gutter that had been removed by the roofing crew. This was an exceedingly frustrating experience. If it were not for the outstanding customer service provided by Michael Herrera I don't know what I would have done. Mr. Herrera had only the tools given to him to work with and I cannot fault him for that. In the end, as a gesture of goodwill, Mr. Herrera offered to put new gutters on my house. Less

However, if you want them to stand behind their work. Good luck! It seems like they have a rehearsed system for tiring customers out. Over 2 months ago now, I called RRCA and spoke with a rep about my roof leak. At first, they tried telling me that there was no record of them installing my roof. (convenient) I told them I had copies of proposals and invoices. I provided the info and they magically found me. They then setup a work order and said a Service Rep would reach out within 24-48 hours to set up an appointment to see what was going on. A week went by and no call. (Week 2) I called RRCA’s offices again and spoke with a rep. Again, they very conveniently had absolutely no record of me or my contractor or of ever talking to me. After going through everything again with them, the rep told me that all of their Service Reps where gone for the week at a roofing convention and that they would call the following Monday or Tuesday. (Week 3) Monday, Tuesday came and went and again no call. I called the RRCA’s offices. Again, I had to start all over and go through all the steps as I had the the previous calls. The rep told me that they had no record of a work order being created. She said she could help me. She created a work order and told me a Service Rep would call in the next 24 to 48 hrs to set up an appoint. (Week 4) Thurs. and Fri. came and went and no call. (Week 5) About mid-week the following week, I called RRCA’s office again, the rep acted surprised that nobody called me. She said she could assign my work order to someone. She told me all the Service Reps were at a convention this week, (these guys and conventions) however, she could set up an appointment for the following Thursday. I said, is there any way I can get their contact info, to confirm the appointment the day before. She told me it was against company policy to give out the Service Rep’s contact info. However, she GUARANTEED he would be there on Thursday. (Week 6) I spent the entire day waiting for the roofer to show up at my house and as you can guess, nobody showed up. (Week 7) I again called up RRCA and again gave them my info and explained what's been going on and what had happened and with my “GUARANTEE”. The rep told me that there was no record in their system of ever having an appointment scheduled with me. However, she would be happy to help me. She told me the Service Rep would be calling me shortly after we got off of the phone to set up an appointment. Then without even having to ask, she provided me with the Service Reps contact info. (I guess company policy must of changed) I received a call 20 min later. He was asking if he could meet me at the house that Friday at 2PM to look at the roof and I agreed. He then asked what was going on with my roof and I filled him in on the problem. He was perplexed and asked why I would replace a roof that is only 5-year-old. I said, I don’t want to replace my roof, I just want to fix the leak. He then said, “Oh, I thought you wanted a new roof. I only quote new roofs, but sense we are on the phone, I am happy to try and help." We confirmed our meeting on Friday at 2 PM and the address and we ended our phone call. Friday at 2 PM came and I received a text from him saying that he won’t be able to make it today. (Week 8) Monday morning came and thought I would try calling the Service Rep directly. However, I got his VM. I left a VM requesting a call back and needless to say another week passed and I never received a call or text back. I have had to shorten my story to fit, this actually happened over about 10-11 weeks. You can see, when they thought I wanted a new roof. Dustin was truly amazing he came to my house the following day after I called them and explained to me why my roof was leaking, and how it needed to be fixed. The following day his crew showed up at my house and started by taking pictures of my roof and also explained what was wrong. Shortly after , Dustin showed up and stayed to make sure that the job was completed as he promised. Every step of the repair they showed me pictures of what they were doing. When completed they took a hose and let the water run for at least 10 minutes where the repairs were done to make sure my roof wasn’t leaking. It was not and hasn’t leaked since. Dustin also checked other areas of my roof to make sure there were no other potential problems and thank god that there were none He could have easily said that there were and I would have fully trusted him and paid to have them fixed. I no longer have the mental capacity to write a detailed description of my genuinely traumatic experience with RRCA as I once anticipated doing. They took full advantage of me and my wife when our insurance agreed to replace our roof after hurricane Ian. After months of living with a small but manageable leak in the old roof, they finally installed the new one. Within a week the new roof started leaking and caused extensive damage to multiple areas of my home - much worse than the old roof. Now it's been months of excuses and patches that have only made the leak move to other areas. They finally determined that the new roof needs to be replaced and have yet to actually begin work. Meanwhile i'm living with an active leak, continued damages that are displacing us from certain parts of our home and the fear of long term damages and mold growth to our 97 year old home. I thankfully have all communication with their employees on record and a detailed timeline of their mishandling of this situation. Tons of video and photo proof of the damages and their acknowledgment of wrongdoing as well. While it's going to make for an easier day in court, it's very unfortunate that we are dealing with this in the first place. Please do yourselves a favor and learn from our situation and stay clear of RRCA. Their customer service rep just admitted to me that i'm by no means the only one dealing with issues with them. We signed the loan, then come January 2023 we heard nothing from Austin for quite sometime. Had to go to their new satellite office in Port Charlotte to find out some answers. They had a hard time reaching him as well. He finally responded only to find out he left the company and signed on with another but was committed to finishing our installation. However, Austin could not get information as to the progress of our new roof installation. He was told different scenarios of where the process was. We then canceled the loan on February 20th since this process was not as rapid as was promised. Finally, February 14, 2023 the roof installation was started. This was promised two- three weeks after signing with their bank recommendation on December 16, 2022. The head roofing contractor never showed up that morning. He was the only one who spoke English. Austin was here then left throughout the process. When he returned my husband and I had mentioned that the crew was just about finished for the day when they did not remove the sky light as in our contract. Also, the wet plywood was not removed. After a few phone calls, Austin finally got this information clearly across to the roofing crew. They finished 75% as expected due to the inspection by the city. The inspector came on February 16, 2023 stating a packet needed to be in the door pocket stating the change of brand of shingles etc. in order for the final inspection to be approved. February 22, 2023 Roofers were suppose to be here 7-9 a.m.. No show. Called Austin. He said they'd be here by 2 p.m.. No show. He said roofing contractor not answering his phone. I then called the main office in Naples and finally got someone who knew what they were doing. Her name is Jessica and she was our anchor throughout this whole fiasco. I told her what what has been happening since December and how no one showed up two months later as promised because no one spoke English and they did not understand they were suppose to return on February 22nd per Austin. Jessica assured us and gave us her personal cell number and made sure the crew would be back the following day which was February 23rd. They showed up. A member spoke English. Thank you Jessica!!! February 28, 2023, Inspector returned. No packet in door as was explained to the project manager and his manager. March 9, 2023 manager shows up at 8 p.m. with correct papers for the inspector. The manager told us it was online as well as Austin had said that was the information he understood even though it was clearly written that the packet MUST be on the premises when final inspection occurred. March 1, 2023 the new gutters were installed by a company RRCA contracted. March 17, 2023 inspector comes for final inspection and notices two big holes in shingles under the soffits. Inspector spoke to Austin while inspector on roof taking pics of holes. Told Austin someone needs to get out here asap to fix these holes. We were promised that on March 18, someone would be here. No one showed. No answers as to when this repair would be completed. The roofing contractor wasn't answering his phone, again! Frustrated, we called Jessica again. She handled our problem once again getting the roofers back to our property on March 20, 2023 to repair the holes in the shingles. Again, thank you to Jessica who helped to solve the problems as no one else seemed to know how to handle these situations. It was hard for Austin at the end because he was given limited access to those in the main office because he left the company. He did follow through the best he could but Jessica was the glue to the company.We appreciate her and her follow ups. Less

EVERYTHING promised - new roof, new gutters, new soffits, new pool surround, along with some interior repairs, WAS 100% DELIVERED. Not only was the work completed to the highest standard, but it was also completed in a timely fashion. RRCA, Tyrone, corresponded directly with my insurance company and provided professional documentation which supported the need for addition funding. Mind you I had to call into the corporate number just to find out what was going on and that he was handling my claim. Then I was deferred to a Miguel Garcia. Again, no contact was made unless I initiated and again I had to call to find out. To this day I have never met the person handling my account. Now, I am a business owner, I worked construction, and I am in sales. My customers know EXACTLY who I am . Maybe I hold a higher level of excellence than this fly by night, but when I pull into my driveway and Eddy Jesus is there to do completion photos and not the person handling my account, I was even more put off. I was absolutely furious. THE WORK IS NOT DONE! This company still has not filled it's obligation to replace my gutters, cut me back my funds to have the rest of the damage repaired, nor collect the information to have my solar panels replaced. I have reached out to Justin Dowd repeatedly and been given NOTHING BUT LIP SERVICE. I explained to him that at the time I was working all over the state and that he just needed to give me a time and day, and I would be there to meet him. Instead he backed out of the first appointment and has been dodging me ever sense. Each time I am given empty promises and pushed to the side. At this point I don't know what to do, having been strong armed by this company and treated like absolute garbage the entire time. Let us not forget too the amount of trash and the nails left all over my yard. I have 2 kids and 3 dogs. Could you imagine what would have happened if one of them stepped on one of those roofing nails, or the ROLLS of nails just left in the grass???!!! I am highly upset with this experience and HIGHLY RECOMMEND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I don't know what core values this Lee Haight has instilled in these "salesmen" but this reminds my of the 1980s style car sales. This is abhorrent and distasteful. Do yourself a favor and find some other company to do the work. There are many other contractors out there that will treat you better. Less
