Years ago, friends invited me to Joe’s “Boot Camp” class, which sounded intimidating to me.A year ago, friends encouraged me to attend a Relentless Positivity Fitness class for a week and promised Joe offered different levels for each exercise, which sounded manageable. Not being a morning person, my first challenge was to change my daily routine to get up at 5am vs 7am to attend Joe’s 5:30am class. A miracle occurred and I stuck with the early morning class for a month, and now a whole year has passed! I found checking off a daily goal to exercise was a great way to start the day, and I was still able to get morning chores done and be ready for work by 8am. The bonus is that I don’t have to think in the morning as Joe does the thinking and planning for you, including fun music selections. I was amazed how every day is different; so, it’s not repetitious or monotonous. Joe, and the other “morning people” ladies make the mornings fun and humorous. (You never know when Joe may show up in a bunny suit, haha, and we have occasional field trips, and enjoy sunrises outside.) My goal for the class was to get in better shape as I face my 60’s, and in doing so not have so many aches and pains that were starting to set in. That has been accomplished and slowly and methodically 15 pounds have come off too. And after using Joe’s Collagen & Protein powder for 6 weeks I noticed my hair is falling out 50% less after so many years of loss. Joe reaches out to each student as a resource to best help their individual health needs.
