Had my son's (age 2.5) first haircut with Latricia. I was worried he was going to cry and fight considering that even brushing his hair required a marathon chasing session around the house. He was so calm and everything went so smooth. I 100% attribute that to the Sharkey's environment and Latricia's patience and calm presence. The only part he was slightly uncomfortable with was cleaning up around his ears and she let him hold the clipper so he could feel comfortable with it. She didn't even judge me while I sobbed like a baby over him getting his first haircut and didn't blink an eye when I asked for all of his hair clippings to take home with me. Sharkey's is 100% the only place I will be bringing him for haircuts from now on.

Sebastian was great! Walked me through the whole process of a first time haircut for my son and even put on his favorite show to watch. He was very attentive and made sure my son felt comfortable the whole time. If you’re looking for a place for your young kids to get a hair cut this place is it!

Went here and had the best first salon hair cut for my daughter anyone can imagine.Sebastian was sweet, quick, and dedicated to doing a wonderful cut. He even showed me how to style my daughter's hair to take care of a tricky curl at the back.When we were done, he did her nails and made my girl's day even better.12/10 stars

Awesome place! Codie was great! She was gentle with my son and directed him when she needed to. She asked questions before she did anything. It’s was our son’s first haircut and we had a great experience. We are totally coming back for his next haircut.
