I had an amazing experience getting my hair braided! She is very nice, welcoming, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. She even offered me food and was always checking up on me to make sure I was okay. My braids came out neat, beautiful, and exactly how I wanted them. The finish product is…ok. Fresh neat parts. Not worth $320. My hair is short, 4 inches long. She used a hot comb to comb through all my hair and then begun braiding it. I’ll probably lose a lot of hair after taking these braids out. My natural hair is sticking out of all the braids. When I did bring it to her attention she started cutting my real hair so it wouldn’t show. I was there at her home for 9 hours because she took several breaks. At one point I felt like my safety was in danger because her family started arguing real loud upstairs and she had to go upstairs to deescalate the situation. Also, this goes for anyone..if you know you’re sick wear a face mask. She kept coughing on me the entire time and never once apologized or covered her mouth. Now I am sick! She asked me did I need anything from the store and every family member that came downstairs(several) greeted me very nicely. I do not usually leave reviews. I just chuck it as a loss but I had to get this off my chest. Ms. Nyanya you’re a sweet lady. I saw pictures of your work which made me eager to book with you but you did not do a good job on my hairstyle. Your mannerisms and customer service could be better. Thanks, I won’t be coming back.

I found Nyanya online and booked a last minute appointment for the same day which she gracefully agreed to. I was running behind time and the moment I got there she wasted no time and started my braids immediately . Nyanya and her sister did my hair and were fast. I walked out of there with beautiful braids, the parting was clean and neat and the braids on point. The environment was well arranged, clean and tidy. I found Nyanya online looking for a braiding shop for my daughter and by just reading her reviews, I decided to give her a try. She did AMAZING 🤩 work on my 12 year old. I’ve been looking for someone who does affordable braids and Nyanya did an amazing job. She matches my braiding hair to my pre colored hair perfectly and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. And her hospitality was also amazing. We sat and chatted as if we’ve known each other each other for years.. just that alone is what will keep me coming back to get my braids done.
