Came by the Sunnyvale location to get a second opinion for a SLAP tear I had been diagnosed with. Dr. Hariri was able to look at the images from an MRI I already had done. We agreed on a planned course of treatment. I scheduled a day for a PRP injection in my shoulder, came in and got it done. So far, my shoulder feels better. Thanks Dr. Hariri for listening to me and taking the time to look at the images I already had.

My appointment today was very, very good. I’m not in pain like I was when I first came in, and Dr. Zhao said that I have healed enough to the point where I could begin physical therapy; which is something I have been waiting to do for a long time. I also told the doc that I had reflected on my choices in the recent past; I had stated that I didn’t like who was looking at me when I looked into the mirror (maybe not in those exact words, but I digress). That if I had been focused on the here and now instead of handling so many things at once and had my attention scattered, I would have been able to be open to suggestions and would have been able to make better decisions. I know that I had to look long and hard at myself to come to that realization, and Dr. Zhao, o believe, could sense that. He mentioned that things like that could happen to anybody, and that things happen for a reason. He said that he was glad we were finally in the same page (I concur); he has prescribed PT for me two doors down from the clinic, which is very convenient. I feel like I am truly on my way to recovery; it may have taken a turn here and there, but I am on that road and I look forward to continuing. 👍🏻
