Julie is fantastic! I have had lower back pain and sciatica on and off for a few years. She was recommended to me by a neighbor who had similar pains. I've only gone a few times but it has already made a big difference. There's a lot of flashy physical therapy out there but chronic pain folks know that nothing can really compensate for technical knowledge of the body. The office is comfortable but not flashy (always a green light in my book) -- she's *actually* knowledgeable, skilled, patient, and rigorous. Highly recommend!

Moshe at Higher Physio is amazing! Can't sing his praises enough. He really listens, meets you where you are and creatively, diligently works to get you to a physical and mental state that is healthy, balanced and in my case has alleviated the chronic pain I was experiencing. He does his homework; researching options and newer therapies that are geared to my home for me to employ between visits. I trust him and look forward to my PT sessions.

Higher Physio Physical Therapy is one of the Best treatments I have ever had. I had back surgery in January of 2024, and after trying different PT's, I finally discovered Higher Physio. Julie Zapata physical therapy truly helped my back get stronger and more sound. I highly recommend using their practice. For anyone living in Washington Heights, Inwood, or the Upper Westside, their therapy is worth the time and money. They truly know how to manage body recovery.

Julie is a star! I have been going to Julie for 4 years, she is so kind and so knowledgable. She works with you to create a treatment plan that fits you best, and combines manual therapy with exercises to get the best results. She is easy to schedule appointments with and is always very responsive if I've asked questions via email. I've also received orthotics through Higher and they have been excellent. When I needed to make a change to my orthotics it was super easy, and got fixed very quickly. 5 stars across the board.

I recommend Higher Physio strongly. I was treated by Andrea for an unusual athletics related sprain/tear -- she very quickly assessed the problem, with skill and intuition and very thorough engagement. She also right away started identifying contributing issues such as posture. She was very good at explaining the issues, and listening to my experience. I learned much about my body and what I needed to do, really coming away empowered and enlightened. Will be happy to return here as needed!

I have received PT with Julie twice, most recently for 3mos Feb-May 2024. I have to say she is the best! I have been to your average PT offices many times over and Julie works with you 1:1 for a full hour with undivided attention. She restored function and reduced pain in my knee unlike any other PT. It is well worth it! I will gladly return when needed.
