The content covered in classes was comprehensive with flexible options to be able to work at my own pace whilst balancing work commitments. The team at Passivhaus Hub are a very helpful and caring group of professionals who have made this challenging and complex process a very enjoyable and clear one. Julia and Daniel's course is excellent. There is a lot to get your head around, but by the time I took the exam I felt well-prepared and confident. I had asked around about the best PH course, and was really pleased with my choice. I am an owner builder, and continuing to do a lot of research and learning about all different aspects of building a passive house. After this course I am looking forward to doing the PH work for my build, and working with a PH certifier to get it certified.

At first being from Australia I was hesitant whether the content or construction methods would be difficult to understand, but the way in which the content was explained and made relevant to all parts of the world made it easy and informative. I highly recommend SPA if you’re looking to learn about passive house principles. The course I took was prerecorded, which was perfect for my busy schedule. On top of that, our teacher Julia was amazing during the weekly Q&A sessions! I purchased the course for myself and one of my employees, and we both passed on the first attempt! I had no doubt we would, as the course is well-structured and made me feel thoroughly prepared. It is one of those courses that opens your mind and at the end you feel like there is a lot more that you want to know especially on retrofit! I have done a few certifications and courses in my life, some of them in a class and some online. I even became a Cert IV Trainer & Assessor at some point and, thanks to that, I can say that I really like the way this course has been organised and provide to the students. From the online platform to the level of support, design of the content, community engagement, review workshops, supporting materials... everything. I am truly struggling for a minute to find any 'room for improvement' comments. If anything, I would have personally loved to have been sent a PDF with the mock up exams solved in the same extent as in the videos. But the truth is that it is not necessary as all is super well explained.What a pleasurable trip, thanks a lot Julia and team!
