I recently completed the PassivHaus Designer course through Passivhaus HUB and had a great experience. The content covered in classes was comprehensive with flexible options to be able to work at my own pace whilst balancing work commitments. Julia and Daniel are both wonderful people and went out of their way to help our cohort with our questions, and teach even the most complex content via a clear structure and process.I would highly recommend this course to any other architects looking to refine their knowledge in Passivhaus and improve the thermal performance of the projects they are designing. I am super proud to now be an accredited PassivHaus Designer, all thanks to Passivhaus HUB!

The team at Passivhaus Hub are a very helpful and caring group of professionals who have made this challenging and complex process a very enjoyable and clear one. Their method of teaching is a clever approach which makes sure the point of each area is understood without being confused by the maths or physics concepts required. I now feel very much more skilled in not just working towards Passiv Haus projects but all building projects, to make them a healthy, efficient and comfortable environment: something all building professionals should aim at of course. Thanks guys and I look forward to working with you again soon.

I recently completed the Passivhaus Designer/Consultant training with Passivhaus HUB and had an excellent experience throughout the course. The training was well-structured, highly practical, and provided a strong understanding of building physics, energy efficiency, thermal comfort, airtightness, and high-performance building design. Our trainer, Julia, was outstanding—knowledgeable, supportive, and able to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.As an ESD professional, I found the course extremely valuable and directly applicable to my day-to-day work in sustainable building design. The learning materials, workshop sessions, and exam preparation support were all of a very high standard.I would highly recommend Passivhaus HUB to architects, engineers, sustainability consultants, and building professionals looking to deepen their expertise in high-performance and low-energy buildings.Thank you to Julia, Daniel and the Passivhaus HUB team for a fantastic learning experience.

Julia and Daniel's course is excellent. There is a lot to get your head around, but by the time I took the exam I felt well-prepared and confident. I had asked around about the best PH course, and was really pleased with my choice. I am an owner builder, and continuing to do a lot of research and learning about all different aspects of building a passive house. After this course I am looking forward to doing the PH work for my build, and working with a PH certifier to get it certified.

I recently completed the Passivhaus Designer course and exam with Smart Plus Academy, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The pre‑recorded course modules were a huge advantage, allowing me to fit the learning into a very busy schedule without feeling overwhelmed.Julia and Daniel, the trainers, were fantastic. They were always responsive, supportive, and genuinely committed to helping students succeed. Their weekly Q&A sessions were especially valuable, providing clear explanations, additional insights, and a chance to dive deeper into the material.Overall, I highly recommend Smart Plus Academy to anyone looking to get into Passivhaus. The combination of flexible learning and excellent trainer support made the course both manageable and enjoyable.

I recently finished the Passive House Designer course with SmartPlus Academy and honestly had such a good experience. Julia is brilliant at breaking down really technical concepts into bite-sized, “ohhh now I get it” moments, and Daniel’s chill vibe and steady energy made every session feel relaxed but super focused.Their “magic formula” and the online platform were perfect for me as a full-time student – I could rewatch the recordings in my own time and passed the exam in one go with confidence. I’ll be recommending them to my classmates and future colleagues, and I can’t wait to use this knowledge in real projects.
