My grandkids always have an amazing time here. Great stylists, welcoming environment, fun and engaging activities like the X-Box’s for kids to play while getting their hair cut.

Cailey did such a good job on my son’s haircut and he is not easy. Super friendly and nice. I will be coming back to see her and her only

We took our daughter for her first haircut to Sharkey's because my brother and sister in-law recommended them and the entire experience was super! From the moment we walked in, it was clear they know exactly how to handle kids. They provided video games and cartoons to keep her entertained and occupied, which turned what could have been a stressful first haircut into a total breeze. She was so distracted by the fun that she didn't even notice the scissors! We are so glad we listened to my brother and sister-in-law's recommendation. We’ll definitely be back for her next trim! Thank you Christine!!

I came here with my Fiancé for her daughter’s first haircut. We didn’t know what to expect or how her daughter would feel about the new experience. Her stylist Cailey was immediately able to make her feel calm and engaged. She had a wonderful time and was so excited afterwards. I would definitely recommend this business and especially our stylist Cailey.

Brought my daughter here for her first hair cut. Both her and i felt comfortable and loved it! Cailey was amazing at making her feel comfortable and beautiful on her special day! She sat in the pink jeep, got to watch frozen and then got her nails painted! She was so excited she wanted to go back the next day😊. This is our go to for my girls haircuts from now on!

Christine has done a great job with both my boys. She listens and does a great job of tailoring the haircut for how each of them want their hair.

I loved taking the drive over here through trout brook. My kids loved this haircut experience and everyone in the salon are so nice and professional. My kids got to work with Cailey and she was so good to them and patient. My children have had a difficult experience with haircuts. Overall it went really well, the kids didnt freak out or scream cry so we'll definitely be returning back. Thank you Ladies !

Had my daughter’s first haircut here and I HIGHLY recommend! This place is awesome, They have little cars for the kids to sit in while they get their hair done with TVs above. Older kids can sit in seats and play video games. The girls haircut comes with a manicure! They really know how to get a kid to start talking about a place! They gave her a ring for her manicure, a balloon, tattoo, and lollipop on the way out! Owner is very nice, he truly did a fabulous job. Kelsey is very sweet with kids…she’s patient, sweet and has good energy (kids always tell the truth). We will definitely be back !

We had the most amazing experience at Sharkey's for my daughter’s first haircut! She has natural Type 4 hair, and Cailey was incredible—so patient, gentle, sweet, and kind. She made my daughter feel so special and beautiful, and now she’s telling everyone about her trip to the hair salon! We did the Mommy & Me package, and Cailey did an amazing job on my hair as well. The whole staff was warm and welcoming—we truly felt celebrated from the moment we walked in. Between the cotton candy shampoo, kid-safe nail polish, Barbie Jeep salon chair, hair glitter, tattoos, balloons, a certificate, and a photo to mark the occasion, it was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. This place is 100% about making kids feel joyful and confident, and they nailed it. Highly recommend!

They are very patient and professional here. Kelsey cut my toddler son's hair even though he was having a hard time. He looked so cute at the end and got a balloon.

Had an amazing experience for my son's 1st haircut. Alyssa did a great job of cutting my son's hair even with him moving around so much and crying. She was very friendly along with all of the other staff. It's a really fun environment that has plenty of distractions for children, especially for children who maybe afraid of their first haircut.

Emily did an excellent job with my son's hair cut. Everybody in there was really nice and my son enjoyed getting his hair cut in a car

Our son struggles through haircuts due to sensory issues, so we checked this place out and it was exactly what we hoped for. Emily did a great job while he played video games to pass the time. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, they even gave my daughter goodies and she didn’t get a haircut.

Great experience taking my niece to Sharkey’s. Her haircut was a breeze and she was so excited about her minicure. We will definitely be back!

This Sharkey's is located in the Old Avon Village plaza. There were plenty of parking and we were able to book an appointment in advance online. The decor is very cute and they did a good job with keeping the kids entertained. The chairs were in the shape of cars and trucks. There were TV's at each station and we can put any cartoon on or play games.Girl's haircuts comes with a mini manicure; a nail polish change and a ring. After the haircut, your child can pick a balloon, lollipop, and/or fake tattoo. We went to the one in Florida for my first born so we had to keep the tradition in Connecticut for my second born. They give you a first haircut certificate, a lock of hair, and at this location, an after picture. The service was great and the stylist was patient and professional. It's my baby's first haircut, so he was scared and crying; she handled it quickly and nicely. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend them!
