I really recommend Joanne as a tutor! She is so helpful and patient with her students. She’s everything and more you’d want in a teacher. Maths has never come easy to our family, and I promised my daughter I would find her a tutor to support her through her GCSEs. She was determined to sit the Higher Maths paper, knowing that the maximum grade on Foundation was a 5. I trusted that she would stay committed and work hard — all she needed was the right support. Finding a tutor wasn’t easy — availability, timing, location — it all seemed impossible. Then we came across Joanne on Facebook, and from the very first message, my daughter and I felt an immediate connection. From day one, Joanne’s approach was both structured and supportive. My daughter was engaged and looked forward to their twice-weekly online sessions. Joanne also went above and beyond by offering advice and help via WhatsApp between lessons. She tailored each session to focus on areas where my daughter needed more clarity, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks to Joanne’s guidance, my daughter achieved a Grade 6 in Higher Maths this summer — a result she was absolutely thrilled with, as were we and Joanne herself. I truly can’t thank Joanne enough. I also have a daughter currently in Year 9, and without hesitation, we’ll be returning to Joanne when the time comes for her GCSEs. When your child collects their results and one of the first things they say is, “I need to tell Joanne!” — you know you found the right tutor. Thank you for everything, Joanne. My granddaughter has ambitions to be a software engineer, and needed a GCSE grade B to get onto the college course of her choice. She had little confidence in her abilities, plus she has selective mutism and ASD, which was adding extra hurdles to her learning. When she joined Joanne's class in 2023 she had managed to get a B in Numeracy but was panicking about this year's GCSE as she struggled to get the B grade. Joanne was amazing and so supportive. Fully understanding my granddaughters learning needs and the challenges she faces. With that support and help, my granddaughter surpassed her own expectations and achieved a grade A in Maths. I highly recommend Joanne as she has helped my son for over a year and I found her extremely helpful to myself and also my son. I asked for advice from Joanne a few months before deciding to homeschool him and then he continued with maths classes with Joanne online in the evenings for almost a year. I believe my son made progress with help and I could see an improvement in his ability but not just that, he liked Joanne and found her extremely easy to talk to when struggling with the maths. I would recommend her and the maths help programme without any hesitation. My son is starting college soon and we wish Joanne every success with maths tutoring.

Great experience with Joanne, she tutored my daughter weekly and was exceptional. She adapted her teaching style to suit and helped my daughter achieve a gcse grade higher than expected, 1 year early. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Seeing my daughter starting To fall behind in her maths losing her confidence too ,We got in touch with Joanne, I got to say she doesn’t push you into having lessons, my daughter has been having Joanne for the pass year , I can honestly say she has built my daughter confidence back up and she has more understanding in what she doing.Her maths grades have improved a lot , if anytime my daughter was struggling in a topic Joanne is always there to help out . My son was tutored with Joanne last year. He stopped going to school in Y11 because he was anxious. He needed to some support to pass his maths. Joanne was very understanding of his needs and his anxiety and he got a 4 which was a great result for him 😊
