Joanne was an excellent tutor for my daughter who was sitting her GCSE’s. She had her one on one for about 2 years once a week which really helped her go over topics she might be having difficult with in school. Otherwise they woukd just do a lot of practice questions on the topics she was doing at school and this really helped her stay on top of her work and boosted her confidence. My daughter found Joanne very fun and appreciable and she would look forward to her weekly lessons with her. I would recommend Joanne to any other student looking for tutoring.

Joanne helped both of my boys as my oldest was home schooled and youngest missed 2 years . She is very thorough tutor and is always accommodating when need extra help on certain topics. Best tutor we have had and takes an interest in all of her students. I highly recommend her as my boys wouldn’t have been able to pass GCSEs without the help. I really recommend Joanne as a tutor! She is so helpful and patient with her students. She’s everything and more you’d want in a teacher. My son was predicted a 5 for his Maths GCSE and with Joanne’s intervention he achieved a 7. She was very reassuring throughout the process, giving me updates and feedback on my son’s progress. Maths has never come easy to our family, and I promised my daughter I would find her a tutor to support her through her GCSEs. She was determined to sit the Higher Maths paper, knowing that the maximum grade on Foundation was a 5. I trusted that she would stay committed and work hard — all she needed was the right support. Finding a tutor wasn’t easy — availability, timing, location — it all seemed impossible. Then we came across Joanne on Facebook, and from the very first message, my daughter and I felt an immediate connection. From day one, Joanne’s approach was both structured and supportive. My daughter was engaged and looked forward to their twice-weekly online sessions. Joanne also went above and beyond by offering advice and help via WhatsApp between lessons. She tailored each session to focus on areas where my daughter needed more clarity, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks to Joanne’s guidance, my daughter achieved a Grade 6 in Higher Maths this summer — a result she was absolutely thrilled with, as were we and Joanne herself. I truly can’t thank Joanne enough. I also have a daughter currently in Year 9, and without hesitation, we’ll be returning to Joanne when the time comes for her GCSEs.
