Zoe was recommended to me through one of my husband’s customers. At the time I had been struggling with chronic grief from child loss and was in a very dark place. I left a message for Zoe on a Friday evening just outside of office hours and did not expect to hear back from her until the following week. To my surprise she called back almost instantly as she had heard the struggle and desperation in my voice. Zoe Slater showed compassion from the very first moment and within only a few ECR Counselling sessions I felt a shift in my thought process around my grief and struggles with child loss. The sessions with Zoe have helped me to recognise and identify negative thought patterns from questions that Zoe has presented to me. These questions have helped me to acknowledge these thoughts in my day to day life and to challenge them which is making a difference and giving me back some confidence. I now have hope again that my future does not need to be filled with sadness and loneliness. Zoe has helped me to give myself permission to feel joy and I am beginning to look forward to and enjoy my life again. I feel I have come so far within a short period and I am excited to see how much further I can go with Zoe’s support and encouragement. I had the best experience with Zoe, she is truly incredible. When I first met Zoe, I instantly felt my energy shift towards her, and knew she was someone who could help me. Once I started my sessions with Zoe, I would always find myself feeling free, open minded and very at peace after each session. I initially went to Zoe for relationship help, anxiety and emotional well being. Zoe really helped me tackle each and every area I wanted to work on. I can’t express the gratitude I have for Zoe, she is someone who is incredibly intelligent, someone who can read your emotions and body language extremely well - and someone who truly cares for you! Ive been seeing zoe for 9 months now and the difference I have found in myself is amazing. She's an amazing listener and helps me see things from a different perspective when i get stuck on looking at something a certain way. She's been there when I've needed her and catered to me when ive needed emergency meetings. Shes never judged my decisions or my past and backs me when I need someone in my corner. All while making sure that I'm staying aligned with my own values. I find it hard to ask for advice but zoe has never made me feel dumb for asking anything. I highly recommend her!
