I have known James Haddad, owner of Arbor Smith (formerly Craggy Mountain Tree Works) in Asheville, for nearly 13 years. Over that time, I’ve had the opportunity to hire him for tree work on my own property and have recommended him to friends numerous times. His expertise in tree care is unparalleled. Arborsmiths dug us out of an emotionally difficult time after hurricane Helene. We had an ocean of trees down and didn’t know where to begin. They were tasked with taking care of our most difficult and dangerous trees. We try to do our own work on our small farm, but this storm put us past our limit. We still have plenty of work to do, but the rest we can take our time on. I am so thankful to have Arborsmiths as a resource. They have the equipment, the expertise and the manpower.

I live in Nashville TN. where we had the worst of the recent ice storm two weeks ago. My old elm did not take this storm very well and needed to be cut and removed. My neighbor told me about this company that drove from the Ashville area to help local landowners. When I first met James, I was immediately at ease and was reassured it would be taken care of.
