Gracie (cocker spaniel ) and I have learnt so much from Laura . We had a course of 6 lessons . From the first lesson Laura explained what we were going to do and why . I now have a dog who listens to me (even when distracted) and I feel confident to walk her off lead in most situations . Laura is patient and understanding , and in every lesson I felt we were learning and going forward as a team . Furthermore , it was great fun learning together and we had a lot of laughs along the way . At the beginning of each lesson I would always have more questions for Laura and she dealt with everything in an efficient but relaxed way .We will return for further training in the future and I highly recommend Laura as a very proficient dog trainer - cocker spaniels are apparently the hardest to train but I now have a dog who listens to me and we are a team !

We have just completed our puppy training with Laura. Our time with her was very enjoyable, educational and enlightening!Laura has such a wonderful approach and is so knowledgable and kind. She has an unparalleled understanding of dogs and how they tick their relationship with us humans.Her lessons are structured and thorough and she has such a reassuring and non-judgemental attitude to teaching and training. Her effort and time taken tailoring the lessons to yours and your puppy/dogs needs and the post lesson info is brilliant and you really feel like you and your dog are understood, worth every penny.Thank you Laura! When we first started our training sessions with Laura, I thought my goodness we are never going to get anywhere. The start was a struggle Riley was not engaging and I thought we was wasting our time with him. However with Laura's professional guidance and her gentle reassurance, encouraging nature we achieved our goals and got there. Now we have a one year old boy who is enjoying his training.His learning will never stop and each day we make progress, Laura has given me the confidence to enjoy his training together ❤️ thank you so much 😊.

We honestly can’t thank Laura enough for everything she’s done for us and our 1 year old cocker spaniel Arthur.Arthur had always struggled with frustration and overarousal biting, and despite trying all the usual advice, we felt completely overwhelmed and lost. By the time we found Laura, we were truly at our wits’ end and didn’t know what else to do.She helped us understand Arthur’s behaviour properly, gave us kind, force-free techniques that actually worked, and supported us with so much patience and zero judgement. We genuinely can’t believe how quickly things started to turn around once we had her help and support. The difference in Arthur (and us!) has been incredible. He is calmer, happier, and so much more able to cope with the world around him, and we feel far more confident as owners too.One of the best things was that we were able to work with Laura online despite living far away, and we never felt distance was a barrier at all.We’ll always be incredibly grateful for the support she gave us during such a difficult time. If you’re struggling with your dog and feeling lost or hopeless, please know things really can get better, and we truly couldn’t recommend Laura more highly.

We want to say a huge thank you to Dog Training with Laura Mars for supporting us with our final piece of dog training, with our working cocker spaniel Merlin, loose lead walking amongst a couple of other areas. We already had our foundations in place, however consistent loose lead walking still evaded us despite those foundations. After a few sessions with Laura we are seeing changes in Merlin’s loose lead walking which is also having a knock- on influence on his engagement with us and the environment, as well as at home.The sessions are fun and engaging, and the follow-up notes leave you feeling confident to carry on and practice in between sessions.Thank you Laura 😀

I didn't have any confidence in my relationship with my dog before I met Laura for one to one training sessions. I believed my dog just didn't want to be around me on walks. Laura, without judgement or criticism, is showing me how to re-engage with my dog and even just a few sessions in, there's an incredible difference. We're having fun again. Laura's advice and guidance has been amazing.

We have been training our rescue dog, Clover, with Laura for around 6 months and she has come on leaps and bounds since the start. At the beginning Clover was very shut down and did not want to engage in any training and would not even eat treats, but now she loves it and picks up (most) training very quickly. We are still working on some longer term, more deep set issues, but have definitely seen improvement.Laura provides a very low pressure environment and happily adapts her plans to accommodate how Clover is responding or if there are any areas we want to discuss/ look at on the day.Overall, I highly recommend Dog Training with Laura Mars

A huge thank you to Laura Marrs for her guidance over the last few weeks. Myself, Linda, and Triss were all struggling to get on the same page, but Laura helped us navigate that relationship with so much patience. It was great to see her methods (which you can read about on her website) put into practice so successfully. She was always on time, incredibly reliable, and felt like a part of the team from day one. We are so grateful for her help!
