Had my Mirage G4 serviced (100K PMS) last 10/11/2022 and I couldn’t be happier with their quality of service as well as my money’s worth. I always see their shop’s name in Facebook posts and most, if not all, of the reviews are positive. But nevertheless, since I was happy with the previous auto shop I went to (sounds like KaKru), I did not pay them much attention. Then came the day for my 100K PMS. I came prepared at KaKru and brought my own spark plugs and serpentine belt since both are due to be replaced. To my utter surprise, their labor fee for changing the plugs is ₱1,560 and it’s going to be ₱700 for the belt. That’s on top of the ₱1,560 PMS fee. It appears that KaKru is trying to screw me with ridiculous fees. Frustrated, I decided to scrap the recommended procedures and changed shops instead. Murakami is only a couple of minutes away so I decided to give them a shot. And it was the best decision I made that day. They performed a semi-full PMS (semi because KaKru already changed my oil) that included a full checkup, throttle body and MAF sensor cleaning, spark plug replacement, and engine wash. They also changed my brake fluid and I had them install new rear coil springs (thank you, Francis). All of those for only a small fraction of what KaKru would have charged me if they had done the same. With that said, Murakami will now be my go-to shop. They may not have a large space, air-conditioned lounges, and whatnot, but I would trade all that comfort in a heartbeat for a shop that provides a bang for the buck excellent service. Less
