Wow! Where do I begin? I’ve really been going through a rough patch and have been in such a deep need [pun intended] of a massage. What a gift it was to walk into Sandstone and receive one of the best massages ever in my life from Steve. After discussing my areas of concern Steve went right to work with great care! What I really loved is how much time and attention he invested into my neck and shoulders. It felt as though he was loosening this are up layer by layer. At one point he placed a warm towel under my neck and let my neck rest for a moment as he focused on other areas. After a while, he returned to my neck to loosen up my muscles a bit more and it felt really nice after having the heat there for a while. He also helped draw out some tightness within my shoulder blades and smooth out some soreness that I had no idea was even there! I have been here twice, once for a reiki energy adjustment and a deep message therapy for my legs. Both were to help with pain and weakness in the legs. Angela is who I used for both. She was kind understanding and professional. I have a soulmate on the other side who is very protective and she even heard some he said and understood you have to ask him to work on me.I like it that this shop is open 7 days a week and a website you can set up appointments for your session. I called and got a same day appointment after work. They are also open in the evening. They have a long list of services and different therapists that work on different days.I was able to get a Sunday appointment for the deep message. They have plenty of parking and in the same strip mall as a CVS.They also have discounts for first responders and teachers. I am planning on coming back for the legs deep message every 4-6 weeks since it help greatly. Less

I absolutely Love Sandstone massage! I’m a member and a regular client who gets an 80 minute deep tissue massage. I’m not always particular in the massage therapist and I’ve never had a bad experience. They’re all good in their own ways. Though today I had Shri and she was AMAZING! She listened to my concerns and started directly in that area. Though I love a deep tissue my legs are typically more sensitive and she was perfect in her technique. Shri knew exactly how much pressure and flow to work my tired legs. Overall it was an awesome full body massage..thx Shri! I booked a deep tissue massage with Jessica. I was very skeptical about a professional massage because of the amount of pain I'm in due to sciatica nerve pain. After booking the appt, Megan called to confirm. She was very personable and professional. When I came into the establishment for my massage, I was greeted by Sandra, the owner. She made me feel very calm and answered all my questions. Even gave me some pointers on what I can do in between sessions. Jessica is AMAZING. Very attentive to my pain and needs. Was constantly telling me what to expect and letting me know that it's okay to tell her what I like and don't like. I HIGHLY recommend Jessica for a massage. It was very soft massage, even though I told therapist I need a massage between 5-6 when 1 is very soft and 10 was hard/ deep. It felt like someone putting oil on my skin. I would not recommend this therapist to my family/friends. Less

I have had nothing but good experiences at Sandstone Massage. I get deep tissue massages at least every 2-3 months, sometimes more depending on knots/tension & stress. I never have an issue getting an appointment, even the same week, and I like that they are open both Saturday and Sunday. Angela has been great when I’ve seen her. I wanted to give a specific shout out to Colin. I had been suffering from tension/ some pain in my right leg - from glute radiating down to my heel. Bothering me for a couple months and I was starting to think it was a sciatic issue. After 1 massage with Colin, I’m pain free today! Plus he gave me plenty of tips for working on these area at home. First time and probably last time here. With all the positive reviews, I expected to walk out relaxed and happy with my service, but instead I walked out disappointed.To start, the walls here are paper thin. I could hear the entire conversation between the client next door and her massage therapist which took away from having a relaxing experience.My biggest disappointment was attention to the clients needs. I had been asked when I booked my appointment, in my paperwork and with my therapist prior what areas I needed the most attention to. So after repeating myself 3 times on this, I expected to have these areas worked for longer periods of time during my 90 minute massage. This was not the case. Those areas were barely touched if not at all. When I flipped onto my back to have my neck worked, my back was still killing me and the one area not worked still clearly hurt. I had to abandon my neck to have her go back to those areas. She then asked me if I saw a chiropractor to which I replied I did. I’m not sure what that has to do with the fact that she didn’t work the areas that hurt me the most.The prices for this place are not listed online and this was my fault for not asking prior. Prices are steep but competitive for the area. Had I enjoyed my massage it wouldn’t have been an issue but leaving unhappy and disappointed I felt like I had just flushed money down the drain.Based on this experience, I don’t think I will be back. I just tried Sandstone for the first time on recommendation from a friend and am thrilled that I did. They offer such a wide variety of services so it was easy to schedule a massage that fit my particular current needs, which I find is not always the case with massage facilities. Audrey was polite, professional, did an AMAZING job (I feel like a noodle now) and frequently checked in with me on pressure and comfort. After the massage she also gave me some feedback on what she'd felt while working on me and suggested some stretches to help maintain limberness. I can be very picky and difficult to please when it comes to massages but I loved my experience at Sandstone and look forward to my next visit there. Less

I love Sandstone, they offer different techniques in addition to massage: cupping, deep tissue with massage device, stretching. The massage is tailor made for each person. BEST massage ever! For a few decades I've been on a hunt for an amazing masseuse. I've been a member at several of the chain stores, I've gone to high-end resorts, and I've utilized the smaller independent therapist friends or practitioners recommended. There have been a few 'good' massages sprinkled in on my journey and then I had Sandra at Sandstone!! For 1.5 hours she focused, at my request, on my aching lower body. Out of the gate, she was prepared with essential oils (she performed my intake and we discussed essential oils), having 5 selected along with a CBD lotion.Her massage began with the application of 2-3 essential oils on my feet for my body to absorb! And then, it happened, magic! I could tell immediately, there was healing in her touch. She used fingers, knuckles, palms, elbow, and forearm. She worked muscles that I'm sure have never been touch by another masseuse. The beauty to her treatment was she knew how to access muscles in a deeper way; by positioning my body in ways that allowed her penetrate deeper into areas that needed healing. I can't say enough about the experience, only that I was positively moaning through most of the massage while I wasn't in a deep meditative place!I have a follow-up session with another therapist who specializes in upper body. 12/30 update: I received a follow-up call from Sandstone. First they apologized for their error, admitting that Claire had not realized that my reservation was prepaid when they made the decision to book over it. Not sure I believed their explanation because I told her repeatedly that it was already paid for and she also had to issue a refund when we advised me it was a “system issue” that allowed the other reservation to book over me. They then offered me a $20 discount to come again in the future (just not on Sunday at 1:30pm as I had originally booked). Additionally, they offered to have a therapist come in at 3:45pm to service me. I declined the 3:45pm offer as I had a family engagement at 4:30pm (which is why I originally booked my appointment at 1:30pm). I work in Marketing and Sales and what was disappointing to me is that no one offered to give me my original slot and move the other client (who booked after me) to the 3:45pm slot. That is what makes things right should look like. They could have explained to the other client the “system error” and allowed me to come as planned and paid for. I commend them for responding quickly and I realize that mistakes happen. I just wish they would have addressed this mistake when I highlighted the error the first time over the phone....and not after I wrote a google review.12/29 Original Post below:If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I booked an appointment on 12/28 in the morning for a 12/29 afternoon appointment. Per their online process, I had to pay in advance via my credit card for the booking to be accepted. I received an email receipt for my purchase and also saw the charge was made to my credit card. On Sunday morning, only two hours before the appointment, I get a call fromClaire telling me that they cancelled my appointment because I don’t have a credit card on file. She readily admitted that I booked first....but they gave up my appointment to someone who booked later. I explained to her that I did pay and I had both an email receipt and my credit card statement that showed the charge. She paused, realizing her faulty logic and then repeated to me that “it’s a system issue”. Even though I paid first, the “system” kicked me out because I didn’t have a credit card on file with them. I was a new client, so how could I have a credit card on file if I was trying them the first time? And what do they use an online app that accepts payment but doesn’t save the card? Again, she paused. Then she said she would refund my money. So again I ask, how can you refund money when you said you needed the credit card? Another pause....then she repeats “it’s just how the system works”. She then emailed me a refund receipt. She said a manager wasn’t available for me to talk too...and more shockingly, never tried to make it right with offering another slot. I told her I did everything their online system required...booked first....paid first....but I’m the one being canceled? Again she said “it’s just how the system works.” Terrible process and customer service. New clients beware... Less

Bismah, Bismah, Bismah. Not only is Bismah an expert in anatomy, physiology, and reflexology techniques, she is a caring person who customizes her reflexology sessions based on her client's issues. I have suffered from chronic Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis for several years. As alternatives to invasive surgery, my podiatrist administered shock-wave therapy, laser treatments, and stem-cell therapy (all unsuccessful). He then referred me to a physical therapist who specializes in Achilles tendonitis. Her program consisted of targeted stretches and myofascial release massage. After 2 months, I was significantly better and discharged from active therapy. But, the therapist emphasized the importance of continuing the stretches at home and recommended that I also see a reflexologist on a regular basis to continue the deep massage that stretches and relaxes the muscles and connective tissue of the calf, tendon, and fascia. Although my at-home stretches are extremely important in preventing flare-ups, I have realized that my sessions with Bismah are also an essential part of my ongoing treatment. I can now go for walks, ride a bike, and my husband and I have even started taking ballroom dance lessons. Although Bismah's sessions are amazingly soothing, relaxing, and enjoyable, I can truly say that they are also healing and are playing a huge role in keeping me pain-free. Thank you, Bismah! Less
